Replacing old batteries with New one of the Exact same Specification or rating should solve the problem. If not You should call Service center of the Brand to solve the exact problem if its still in Warranty or Guarantee period.

Look around and see if it has a reset button ...and reset it to factory settings ..Probably happened with it ..or cause it repeated you are doing something wrong when you set it .....probably you lock it in the last read ..cause it indicates the same measurement ..So ..all devices like that have to have a reset button ...locate it ..(it may be in the menu as a feature..and called different probably ..factory defaults or factory settings ..or reset all ..) and after you engage the reset it will work again ..but ..read the manual carefully and see what are you doing wrong ...
