Easy answer is the batteries are dead (or the connectors are corroded and preventing current to flow).

Other than that, something on the main board has failed, requiring a technician to service. As most of these radios cost under £40, its probably not worth fixing. Just replace.

How do you adjust the start up volume on a Bush DAB NE 3125 radio seems to be preset at 10 Regards

To adjust the startup volume on a Bush DAB NE 3125 radio, you can follow these steps:
  1. Turn on the Radio: Switch on the radio by pressing the power button or any other designated button.
  2. Locate the Settings Menu: Look for a "Settings," "Menu," or similar button on the radio. It is usually represented by an icon or labeled accordingly. Press the button to access the settings menu.
  3. Navigate to Volume Settings: Within the settings menu, navigate to the volume settings options. The exact location and naming of this option may vary, so refer to the user manual if needed.
  4. Adjust Startup Volume: Once you've located the volume settings, you should find an option to adjust the startup volume. Use the volume control buttons or a designated adjustment knob to increase or decrease the startup volume level to your preference. Some radios may use a numerical scale or percentage system to represent the volume levels.
  5. Save and Exit: After adjusting the startup volume, save the changes by following the instructions on the screen or pressing a designated button such as "OK" or "Save." Exit the settings menu to return to normal operation.
Note: If you're unable to locate the volume settings within the menu or the settings menu does not provide an option to adjust the startup volume, refer to the user manual specific to your Bush DAB NE 3125 radio. The manual should provide detailed instructions on how to adjust various settings, including the startup volume.
If you don't have the user manual, you can try visiting the Bush official website or contacting their customer support for assistance in obtaining a digital copy of the manual or for further guidance on adjusting the startup volume.

A DAB Radio lost some of my digital channels

Try to stand outside wit the radio in a spot where you are most likely to have proper signal. Then try to rescan channels.

I bought a Bush digtal/ AM/ FM radio ("retro transistor" style). DAB reception dropouts lasting several seconds each time have started occurring recently. AM/ FM is ok.

Constant usage of DAB should not cause it any damage ever. The dropouts are very characteristic of a poor signal reaching the DAB tuner, as digital is either there, or not there, nothing in between.

Check the aerial connection if any, the rod antenna if any, and try moving the antenna (whatever it is) to a better location, usually higher up, away from thick walls, and away from speakers if any.

How to work / setBuch radio alarmclock

I just found my manual for the Sharper Image SI785 CD/Radio Alarm Clock with Sound Soother. Had misplaced it for quite a while. Am not saavy enough to know how to post it online, but if anyone needs one, just email back your address and I'll be happy to send it. I remember how frustrating it has been trying to program/reprogram one without it. Looking forward now to knowing how to use this thing :)
