Change Blade on Venetian Blinds

Here's a link to some info on restringing blinds which you'll have to do if you replace the blinds. For the trouble I would just get new blinds. Working with blinds can be frustrating even after you've done it a few times. On the other hand, it's fun to learn a new skill. Good luck!

: Pictures are in gray and have horizontal lines

This is typically a bad image chip within the camera. You didn't specify what kind of camera you have, but chances are it is a point and shoot, non SLR camera. If this is indeed the case, it will likely be more economical to purchase a new camera as opposed to repairing this one.

Black horizontal lines. Looks like I am looking through venetian blinds

OK this problem is caused by a failing electrolytic capacitor back in the power supply. It's job is to filter AC interfence from that voltage source. Locating the correct capacitor is something not for a do-it-yourselfer. A respectable tv shop experienced with Mitsubishi tv's can usually repair this problem in your home. Average repair cost would be between $200 and $300.

Help... white lines

I also have the same problem! I absolutely love this camera but suddenly out of the blue I have stripy lines on the screen that look like you are looking through a venetian blind. I have contacted Fuji but they say it will cost £99 to repair or have offered £50 discount on any other camera. I just want my F460 working ok. Please, please can anyone help us?
