My oven is a Frigidaire Gallery series NF20914439, Model FGEW3045KFB
First take out the broiler pan, insert and any aluminum foil. Remove any other tools or pans from the oven. Next clean any large deposits in the oven cavity with hot, soapy water and a cloth. Clean the oven frame, the area outside of the door gasket and the very front center of the oven bottom with soap and water. Once you are ready to start the Self-Clean cycle, press the Self-Clean touch pad. To change the length of the Self-Clean cycle, press the pad again, as needed. Press Start. If you want to have the Self-Clean delayed, press the Delay Start touch pad after the Door Loc message appears. Type in the start time with the keypad.
To stop this cycle, press Cancel. If the oven is hot, the door will remain locked.
Frigidaire has most of their manuals available on their support site: http://b2b.frigidaire.com/support/manuals.asp . The current link to the English version of the Owner's manual is http://manuals.frigidaire.com/PDFnotFoundCheck.asp?path=ftp://ftp.electrolux-na.com/ProdInfo_PDF/&folder=Lassomption&PDFtype=Owner&PDFfile=318205312en.pdf&model=FGEW3045KFB . See pages 24-25 for this information.
I hope this helps.

SOURCE: I started my oven on ''clean'' -- how long should this take?
Whithout knowing the model number in general it takes several hours for the cleaning cycle. My oven takes approx. 4 hours to complete a good cleaning. On my own oven, you can set the timer for as long as you want. Do you have an owners manual? If not, you can find one here...........

SOURCE: The self cleaning instructions for my Frigidaire
Hello- The function is automatic when clean button is pushed. Oven will lock, and turn on at full power for about 90 mins. This 'feature' can, and usually does eventually burn out circuits in the control board. Techs call this the 'self-destruct' option, cheerfully promoted by the salesman. Avoid using 'self clean'! Scrape and clean with light soap/water. Turn on to 450deg. for about 30 min. This is about half the temp. of a 900deg. 'clean' cycle and a lot less expensive in the long run. Please acknowledge this post if info is helpful- have more if needed.- Thanks- Ed

" Wish I had read this first. I never would have used the self cleaning
option. Thanks for the info!!
SOURCE: I have misplaced the manual
First remove the racks, broiler pan (complete) and any aluminum foil that is in the oven. Hand clean any large deposits inside the oven. Use a non-abrasive cleanser, not an oven cleaner. Clean around the door frame and the edge of the door (outside of the gasket) with hot water and detergent. Close the door to the oven and make sure there are no plastic utensils near the vent of the oven. Make sure that your kitchen is well ventilated.
Next move the lock lever to the right. Set the Oven Selector and Oven Temperature both to Clean. Make sure that the clock, Start and Stop times are set to the correct time. Then push in and turn the Stop time knob clockwise to 3 hours (normal cycle). Make sure the Start time knob is not pushed in. Now wait for the cleaning cycle to be completed and for the oven to cool down. The lock lever can not be moved back to the left until the oven is cool. Forcing it will break it. Turn the Oven Selector and the Oven Temperature knobs to Off.
The manual is available here: http://www.kitchenaid.ca/assets/pdfs/literature/Use%20and%20Care%20Guide%20-%203189075.pdf . If the direct link doesn't work, start here: http://shared.whirlpoolcorp.com/product_literature/search.jsp?siteCd=WHRCOM and enter the model number and then click Go.
I hope this helps.
