When you plug it in to your computer, you should see an option in iTunes to synchronize it with your current library. Press "Yes" and the existing music will be erased.
You should be able to turn it off by holding down the "Play" button and turn it on by pressing the "Play" button.
If this fails, you can restart the device by holding the "Menu" and "Select" buttons for 6-10 seconds until it restarts.

As is known, iTunes helps to sync media files and apps. when users are about to sync music to their iPod, they'll find the option of syncing playlist. When the users check the playlist to sync, they will sync the whole playlist to their iPod.
Connect your iPod to computer, and launch iTunes if it doesn't open automatically. As is shown, all the playlists on iTunes are on the left side.
Then, click "iPod nano" on the top of iTunes. Some of you may prefer the old look of the iTunes. If so, go to the View menu and select Show Sidebar to show the left side of the window that displays all media libraries.

Easily, you will have to go into the itunes settings and configure it to manually transfer/sync songs and playlists. After that you can move files from your computer directly onto your ipod via drag and drop or you can create a playlist and place the playlist on your ipod in itunes via drag and drop.

• In order to import music into your iPod. All you need to do is:

• First make sure you have downloaded your music into the iTunes Library.

•Then from the iTunes menu bar, click on File>New Playlist in order to create a new playlist.
You will see a new "untitled playlist" Folder, on the right side bar in the iTunes window. Name that folder as you see fit.
Now take all of your music that you want to add to the new playlist, from the iTunes Library and drag all those songs into the playlist.
* From here, you will need make sure your iPod is connected to your computer and that the device is showing up in iTunes.
Once you see the iPod connected, go into its settings and select the Music tab, make sure to activate the Playlists and select that new playlist from the list of playlists you see. (Make sure if you have other playlists in that list you want to add, be sure to check off those boxes too)
* Finally when you have selected that playlist (and all your desired playlists) that you want to import into your iPod:
* Proceed to sync your iPod
* Once the sync process is completed, you should see the playlist you made with your desired songs from your iTunes Library, now on your iPod Nano.
Go to itunes and click on a song that you want to delete and press the delete button on your keyboard and it will ask you if you are sure you want to delete this song from all playlists and off the ipod and click yes and it will delete. Unfortunately, it will not let you delete it from the ipod menu without connecting it to a computer.

Copy your music over to itunes either by copying your CD's or importing your music that you already have on your computer, you can do this by going to File>add folder to library or add file to library and go to where your music is and import. This will convert your music to be played in itunes and to be recognised by your ipod. Once you have done this, create a playlist of music that you want on your ipod. Go to File>new playlist. and rename the playlist to a name more suitable. Then select which songs you want on your ipod by righ-clicking the song and send to playlist, select the playlist that you just created. Once you have your playlist and are happy that you have all of the songs that you want, plug your ipod into the computer, itunes will pick the ipod up and load the necessary drivers for it. You will notice a little picture of your ipod on the left hand side of the screen, click on it then click on and update your ipod with your playlist.
I myself have a 4gb iPod Mini, so i can't transfer my full library to my iPod, at least until i get a Classic. But in your case, you need to set up your iPod ot let you manually manage your music, and setting your iPod to only sync sonts that are checked in your library. When you manually manage your music you choose the music you want on it by Playlist, so the LimeWire playlist (that should have already been set up with the first song you downloaded from the program) will need to be checked in the "Playlists" box under the "Music" tab the next time you sync it.
