Dont be an *** to him. Just send it to Sony, and get it fixed if its still under warranty. If not, just buy a new one.

I can't find the second memery slot A417M

LOL, what kind of laptop? I'll bet the bank it's a Sony Vaio. OK, even if i'm wrong some manufacturers didn't put much thought process on ease of access on certain components. Your 2nd memory slot is probably either under the keyboard or under the palmrest either to the left or right of the touch pad area. That means you'll have to do a partial disassemble to get to it.

My psp 2000 slim is not registering the battery pack, and the only thing that happens when i plug the psp in to the AC Adaptor is that i get one orange light.

ok It sounds like
A/ you have a pandora battery
B/ have you tryed to mod it in any way ?
C/ have you got a magic memery stick in your psp
D/ what firmware you on

A/ when you just have the battery in it is ther a green power light on ?
if so then you have a pandora battery.
If you know some one with a modded psp and they could posabley sort your battery out with there psp.

When you mod ( hack ) a psp there is a chance you can brick it so it dont work any more.
there are ways to bring it back you may have to find some one with a modded ( working ) psp to sort out your memery stick.

C/ if you have a magic memery stick in your psp then it will not run the same as normal cos of the files on the stick

D/ what firmware is it on if its like mine im on cfw 5.50-gen-d then yours ia hacked there are also M33-?
they are also showing you that it's modded

so all in all
try your battery in another psp and try there battery in your psp take out and memery sticks and games

My psp wont read my memory card but other psp's will please help

if you've tried multiple working memory cards in your psp the memory slot is probably bad. One thing you can try though, go ahead and blow some air into the slot just to make sure theres not dirt or dust that is inside of the slot.

If you do that and it still won't read memory cards then the memory card slot is bad.

I can't find the second memery slot on sony vaio vgn a790

Second memory slot is under the keyboard. If you use link below and select 'user guide', then go to page 148 and it gives you detailed instructions on how to access the second memory.

I would appreciate feedback if this is useful. Thanks

Memory slot?

Your computer probably does not have one of those slots if you can't see it on the front of the computer. There are adapters you can buy that will hold the little camera memory cards. They plug into a USB slot. We have one that we use. I also use one that has 4 slots on it for several types of memory.
