My zephyr vent hood fan will not turn off. The light seems to be working properly but the fan is not responding to the buttons.

I'm Harvey the Master Plumber.

Your problem is: After the power went out your Zephyr hood lights and fan don't work at all. There is a faint glow on the digital display but the fan and lights don't respond to pressing the control buttons.

First check the circuit breaker. If OK then check the transformer in the unit. It's next to the fan motor. If no power on the high side then you have a loose or broken connection. If you have no power on the low side the you have a bad transformer. If OK then you have a bad control board.

I am also looking for instructions for PLHV36W6CC.

The fan is on right now but the switch is sliding back and forth loosely.

I just downloaded the manual but that was no help.

If someone has a quick solution, that would be great.
