I have the DC39 Canister. The triggerhead does not spin. I removed hair from the brush. The left side of the triggerhead where the mesh is there is suction but the brush still does not spin. Please help.
SOURCE: no suction
Is there a blockage in the small hose in the bottom of the machine
take of the pod and you will see the small hose,
Is the main hose pushed into the bottom housing
SOURCE: Dyson DC07 vacuum.
you have to remove the hose and wand then you can get to the clip that holds the canister on the machine and with a screw driver gently prise it of the machine
SOURCE: My electrolux canister vacuum roller does not spin even though it has power.
take the floor attachment and on the front where you attach the wand there's a rubber like cover take it out, then you'll see a screw that you would need a star key driver, loosen it and the cover comes off, you'll see 2 wires, black and red,on mine the red wire came loose, just reattach and put things back together and you're good to go.
Hope that helps
SOURCE: Brush will not turn and lights will not light
the problm is under the top cover of the base, there are some screws on the botton also remove the self adhiesive emblem on the top and remove the screw then the top will come off.ithink what you will find is a burnt circuit board that sets right above the motor
SOURCE: Have suction, new bag, brush moving but does not
Solved!!!
I went to my local Sears store and the salesman there looked at my vacuum and was able to resolve the issue. There was a piece of wire that had been sucked into the machine that then blocked anything else from being vacuumed up.
Thanks for your help.
