Yes you can switch your phone off 1st,then power on,but this time hold the menu/home button down with the vol up button.keep your menu and vol. up button pressed..only leave go of ur power on button once power on starts..keep the other 2 buttons pressed in about 20-60secs you will see an green android man..leave all buttons go..after bout 30secs more.you will see a menu..this is the RECOVERY menu..CAREFUL...choose reset cache 1st when that completes choose reset phone..user data will all be deleted..after that completes choose restart phone..INSTRUCTIONS TO USE..select option using vol up and down..select using power button.
PLEASE BARE IN MIND ..this will delete all ur photos. Phone numbers etc etc ..so make a back up 1st via goggle..and remember your google password..because phone will boot up as if it was just unboxed..be AWARE phone may ask you to sign in google..if you not signed out on your phone 1st

Yes, you have to restart your phone in recovery mode. From there you can reset your phone,

SOURCE: My Nextel i880 says enter special code what should I do

Sound as though maybe you're trying to use a "boost" sim card on a Nextel phone. The phone has to be unlocked in order for that to work.

SOURCE: Need Boost SIM card to work in Nextel Motorola Buzz+ ic602 phone.

I called Boost support about the same issue and I was told that that particular phone and any other Ic series phone by motorola will not work with Boost Mobile. There was also a few other phones that will not work. Try calling thier support line and requesting the list of phones that won't work. Good luck.

Motorola i880 inside screen is upside down, outside screen is white. can this be fixed

HI. This is a serious program fault. If possible, take out the sim, if applicable, and remove any memory devices that may be installed as well. Once you have done that; Remove the battery and let the phone stand without any of those components for 30 minutes. This will force the program to reset. Once the 30 minutes are up, reinsert the battery, sim and mem card(if you have one), and power up the unit.

If the program scramble continues after the reset, kindly, contact your local provider for an exchange request or device service visit. The device will need to be reprogrammed or replaced.

The camera on my i880 does not work

I had the same problem. Come to find out, SIM cards are different. Nextel/Sprint got smart and scaled down SIM cards for the less expensive models (ie the i335). Therefore, the SIM cards that come in the scaled down phones do not have a "media center" on the SIM....you need an older SIM (they are yellow on the bottom) or a SIM that was designed to go in the i880. I have a SIM out of a old i265 that works....I tried a SIM out of an i730 and it didn't work either. Hope that helps and good luck. When you get the right SIM, the stupid "refreshing media" will be ancient history. :)
