I read all the reviews of the boat I could find, all were VERY positive, all said the boat was very stable in all water conditions, the only draw back comment I ran across is that it is fairly heavy, but that is due to its rugged design, so really you can't have it both ways.
Having Kayaked in the Ocean many time myself I would buy this boat for that purpose after what I read. Here are some transcripts of the reviews I read

umm....plastic or composite? If it's plastic, sit it out in the sun or carefully heat the dent with a heat gun and gently push it back out. Happens all the time.

If it's a composite or a rigid plastic kayak, you have a nice repair job ahead of you that won't fit into this space comfortably.
