SOURCE: I have an Equity Weather

The wireless unit that transmits to the indoor unit is weather resistant, but not immersible. Even so, try to shield the transmitter from the sun and rain, if possible. When positioning the transmitter, keep in mind that direct sunlight may cause false readings and mounting it on heat-retaining materials (like brick) will show a higher temperature, even after sunset. Avoid mounting it anywhere near things that give off heat (air conditioner units, dark exterior walls, etc.).

LaCrosse has not yet uploaded the manual for this, but you may check later at:

SOURCE: Sharp Weather Station Model SPC344 The outside

After inserting the batteries, DO NOT set the time until the OUTSIDE temperature registers. That's the trick.

SOURCE: Why does a 2008 dodge ram 5500 CUMMINS automatic Transmition get hot when i use my ac when the weather is hot outside

Its possible the radiator is not cooling enough to handle the engine and trans. Depending on where the aux cooler is for the trans, there may not be enough air flow thru the radiator. With the condenser in front of the radiator the ac produces extra heat the radiator has to overcome.

Either the sensor is defective or the receiver is, toss a coin.

I have the Atomic Clock model W86111. I had to change the batteries on the outside device. The clock outside temp just flashes 63.5 all the time. How do I make it sync to the device outside?

Remove all batteries from outdoor sensor and weather station.

Press one of the buttons on the weather station at least 20 times to clear all memory.

Verify that the weather station is blank before proceeding (there may be lines painted on
the screen that will show when power is removed).

Leave both units without power for 15 minutes (very important).

Insert fresh batteries into the clock.

Insert fresh batteries into the outdoor sensor.

Press the TX button on the outdoor sensor to transmit RF signal.

Keep the outdoor sensor 5-10 feet from the forecast station.

When RF connection is established, the temperature will appear on the station. Allow the
outdoor sensor and weather station to sit together for 15 minutes to establish a strong
connection.

The outside transmitter for my Lacross weather station, model WS-9080U-IT is not working. I replaced the batteries. How do I get it to transmit?

First remove the batteries and wait 5 minutes and then try again. If still no success, make sure that you are close enough to the sensor, take the sensor inside to the readout and see if it picks it up. If it does then there may be interference.

Why is there a red blinking light on outside sensor? This is only 2 weeks old and new batteries were put in then.

The red blinking light, I believe is indicating the outside sensor is transmitting the outside temperature data to main weather station unit.

Rc sensor outside will not transmit 4-ld3091-t

Try physically taking your inside unit outside, and replacing the inside unit batteries as close as possible near the outside unit. Once the transmitter has found the signal, it should lock on and continue to work. Good luck.

hi,

does the outside humidity working ?

if yes - the outside station is transmitting but the temperature sensor is faulty,
if no sensing is available from the outside station, it look like the outside station is faulty . (this is common because of extreme weather change.
notice that the pressure sense is done in the base station.

Try taking the inside unit outside as close to the transmitting unit as possible for three minutes. The signal might lock on to the setting you want to receive.

The sensor from my weather station is not registering outside temperature

I've had the same problem since I bought this unit 2+ years ago; when the outside temperature moves into the freezing zone, the sensor stops transmitting. I contacted Lacrosse-- all they could suggest was change the batteries. My solution: throw it in the trash!

Cannot get the weather station model ws-916ou-it to show outside temperature

I have three of these WS-916OU-IT units. After a few years, the outside sensor just fails. You will get dashes and a "TR" low battery signal, even if the batteries are good
just buy another whole weather station (short money) and set both the old and new weather station unit to receive from the single new outdoor sensor.
To do this - just follow the procedure for a single sensor - that is - put the batteries in the new sensor - then within 30 seconds - put the batteries in all the weather stations - they will all pick up the same outdoor sensor.
I now have three units running off of one outdoor sensor.
Seems a bit silly, but it works.
