Bmw z3 2.5i CODE p0340

The code is for the cam position sensor for the intake cam shaft.
You can clear the code and it may not come back. If it keeps coming back you might want to replace the sensor and double check the connections where it plugs in to the harness. Hopefully this will fix the problem.
Let us know if this helps, Robert

I am trying to access the SD card in my Hitachi DVD Cam and it keeps telling me "Card Error"

Try inserting a different card in your camera and if the problem persists, its a fault on your camera. A technician should fix it. On the other hand, if the new SD card is accessible, then the former card is corrupt. You should replace it.

When I try and take a picture the card lock comes up . How do I fix this?

Your memory card has been write protected. This can be fixed very easily.
  1. Turn off camera.
  2. Take out the memory card. (it's probably located near the battery. press down on it and release it. Then it will pop out.)
  3. Slide the small switch on the side of the card to the position marked with an unlocked padlock.
  4. Put card back in and turn on cam.
There. That's it. hope that helped.

Comes up with card error

Your memory card is either write protected or corrupted.
  • If it's write protected, it can be very easily fixed.
  1. Turn off cam.
  2. Take out the mem. card. (it's probably located near the battery. press down on it and release it. Then it will pop out.)
  3. Slide the small switch on the side of the card to the position marked with an unlocked padlock.
  4. Put card back in and turn on cam.
  • If that doesn't seem to be the problem, then it's likely that the memory card is corrupted. This is common with Flash memory that has been used extensively for a long time and this problem is likely not caused by any fault in the camera. You might not be able to access any pictures that were stored on your cam, but you can try using a data recovery software like Recuva if you want to recover pictures ( click name to download ). If you want to use the card again, You can try formatting it (differs from cam to cam, check instructions manual for specific instructions) If this doesn't work, You will have to buy a new card. Make sure you buy a good brand like Lexar or SanDisk.

That's it. hope that helped.

How do you transfer the photos to computer with out taking card out

Your camera will come with a cable, plug each end into ur PC and cam and turn it on and it shows up in "my computer" just like a pen drive! (and it acts like a pen drive too.)
But u have to remember these points, they're important.
  • If you edit any of the pictures using the PC, You can't view them with the cam again (happens even if u take the card out and use with a card reader).
  • If you keep it plugged in for a long time, the batteries will run low.

Anybody please help me!!! when I take picture my cam keep saying ''CARD LOCKED''.. how to fix this problem??? Please...

Just like old 1.44 drives, sd cards have locks on them. Take the card out of the camera. Look at the side of it and locate the slide. This lock and unlocks the card. This is a feature to prevent accidental erasure of the card.

Hope this helps.

Fuji s602z CF II card not initializing

I've bought a SanDisk ExtremeIII 4GB CFI card. Ofcourse, at the beginig nothing worked. Camera format command worked neither (initializing problem,...). I then formated my card through a car reader on fat16 and now everything works. Just make this command: format <volume>: /FS:FAT. After checking and formathing the card, you will be asked to go on by 64K size of cluster. say Yes.
