I don't know. it may be your blower or your motor that needs to be inspecvted. be very careful. shut off power to furnace. turn thermostat to lowest setting. shut off circuit breaker for furnace or remove fuse for furnace. open blower panel; and pull drive belt [ i f furnace has one ]
that turns the blower. if it turns, the blower is OK i suspect the motor needs repair. https://www.repairclinic.com/RepairHelp/Furnace-Repair/36-383--/Coleman-Furnace-Troubleshooting

SOURCE: Coleman Presidential II mobile home

Is this furnace standing pilot or electronic ignition. If standing pilot i would check furnace filter then the thermastat. To test themostat first turn power off to furnace. Take thermostat off wall and take wires labled R & W and connect them together. If you have electronic ignition I would start with cleaning the flame sensor with steel wool or wire brush. If you have and more questions i will be glad to help.

SOURCE: pilot stays lite but the burner wont ignite propane unit

the gas is not coming out of the burner, probably due to rust clogging the holes.

Coleman Presidential II Furnace: No heat and blower motor is running constantly.

This could be due to either an open safety switch such as a rollout or high limit, or the relay could be welded inside the control board constantly sending 120 volts to the blower motor. A less common cause could be a bad thermostat which can be verified by removing the face plate. If the blower stops, then the thermostat will need to be replaced.

How do I light pilot light?

There should not be a pilot on a direct vent furnace. When you turn up the thermostat for heat the 1st thing to happen is a venter motor should start, it should vent for approximately 45 seconds, the air switch will verify a vacuum in the burner box, then a spark igniter should start clicking to start the pilot, then the flame rod will verify the pilot, the igniter will stop clicking, and the main burner will ignite and remain on until the thermostat has satisfied the set point. These guideline steps must be satisfied before the controller advances to the next step. The 1st step is the venter motor running, sometimes the motor will stick over the summer months, spin it manually to unstick it. PS, nothing runs if the fan door cover is open, as that shuts down the power to the whole furnace.

I have a Coleman Presidential II Model #3118A751, it went out. What parts do I need? can it be fixed?

If it is a 'standing pilot' furnace and it just 'went out'...I would think you need to try to re light the pilot light. If it doesn't re-light, it is probably time for new thermocouple. Presidentials are very tricky to install a thermocouple on if you are not experienced with it or if you don't feel comfortable working with gas and electricity.

Probably should call a local 'handy-man' at the least to perform the task or a local HVAC service company.

There should be a series of phillips head screws around the perimeter of a large access panel on the front of the furnace. You'll need a 3/8" wrench for the thermocouple connection to the gas valve and a 7/16" wrench to remove the 'pilot' line off of the gas control. Look for how the pilot assembly mounts under the pancake style burner because its much easier to remove the whole pilot assembly to replace the thermocouple than just it by itself. Once removed, it is self-explanatory as to replacement of the thermocouple.

Do NOT overtighten the thermocouple connection into the gas valve as you can damage the gas valve by doing so. Make sure you leak test the pilot tube connection after it is reconnected to the gas valve. A diluted solution of dishwashing liquid dashed around the ferrule of the pilot line should show bubbles if there is a leak. No gas will be in that line unless the pilot button is depressed and/or the pilot light is lit and burning.

Coleman Presidential Furnace 6806A842 heat switch pops then cool air

Make sure all vents are open and filters are clean. Likely an air flow issue but possibly, though unlikely, both switches are bad.

Coleman evcon furnace

Sounds like it isn't getting a call for heat. If you have a digital thermostat it could be the problem. I have seen them look like they are working but burn out. A simple way to check is take the stat off the wall. There is 2 wires. It's low voltage so don't worry about shock. Touch and hold them together. If it fires up change the t stat. On a . 2 wire it makes no difference which goes to W or R

I have an old Coleman Presidential propane furnace. The other day the furnace quit working. I checked and the pilot was out so I relit it and positioned it back to on. The main burner then ignited but only...

Try taping assembly the pilot with a screw driver sounds like a dirty pilot and when the flames come on the pilot pulls away from the thermal couple but tap it when the pilot is lit not the burners

Coleman presidential II furnace blower on and off

Sounds like the flame sensor. But it could be the thermostat. Is the furnace standing pilot or electronic spark or hot surface ignition. I would start by checking thermostat. Turn power off to furnace take thermostat off wall and take wires marked r & w and connect them together. Turn power back on if furnace works then change out thermostat. Most eclectronic ignition Furnaces have a flam sensor, You could take flame sensor out and clean it up with steel wool or wire brush. If you need anymore help just reply back .

Gas furnace wont stay lite

I'm a little confused by your terminology. You are saying you have a pilot lite and electric heat strips? Are you possibly meaning burners? Is the heater running for 2 hours straight without shutting off? how cold is it there? Lastly what temperature do you have the thermostat set at and how close does it get to the temp. before it shuts off?

Heater blower motor cycles on and off (frequently). I have a class 2 LR95329 Honeywell Thermostat

The clicking noise is a relay or switch of some sort. You are right about that. I have 2 questions. 1) does the thermostat have a mercury bulb in it? 2) when the fan shuts off and on, does the burner stay on?
