I don't know. please consider removing batteries, be careful with the blade now. gently turn the blade a bit each way. also your unit may have a safety that the blade cover activates. it may be stuck. move it if possible as well. replace the blade cover. put new batteries in the correct way [AA's the + end has a bump on it]. close it up and try it. use your existing batteries if they are full. you can test them with meter or in a flashlight etc.

Trum turns but will heat dyer. Is there an internal lint filter?

Re-word your question please. No internal lint filter. If you mean it turns but does not heat then the safety switch burned out and no longer allows the heat strips to operate. This problem is generally caused by a clogged or nearly clogged exhaust hose. Replacing the switch can be tricky on some models but some can be done by removing the front panel others by removing panel and belt and drum. That's when you call an expert.

Turns on but wont get hot

Hi

The first thing to check is the fuses or breakers in your homes fuse box. If this fuse is blown, it is possible for your dryer to spin but not produce heat. If you've checked the fuses and they are not blown, the next possible cause is the heating element.
To check the heating element, move the back panel of the dryer. You'll need a volt/ohmmeter to check the element terminal. Locate the element and set the volt/ohmmeter on the RX-1 scale. Remove one lead from the element and then place one probe of the volt/ohmmeter on the terminal of the element. Place the other probe of the volt/ohmmeter on the remaining terminal of the element. Look for a continuity reading of the volt/ohmmeter of approximately 2-5 ohms. If there is no continuity reading, the heating element is defective and should be replaced.
Also clean the lint filter every time you use the dryer. Even if the lint filter is cleaned after every load, lint will still accumulate around the dryer's moving parts, the exhaust duct and vent. Each year inspect the vent pipe and vent cover operation. Disconnect the exhaust duct and remove lint from the internal exhaust pipe, the duct and the vent. Make sure the duct has no kinks, where lint and moisture can build-up.
Turn off the power; remove the front and rear panels and vacuum out the lint from around the motor and idler. Poor air flow uses more energy and can cause lint build-up in the internal ducting, leading to a fire hazard.

A PEN WENT DOWN THE LINT TRAP AND NOW THE DRYER WONT TURN ON. KENMORE GAS DRYER

can you move the drum by hand?if not the pen is jammed in the blower wheel stopping the motor from turning,if the filter is on top you'll need to remove the filter, take out the 2 screws in front of the filter now make sure the dryer is on a flex line so you can pull it forward to remove the lint filter and then remove the back panel, now you need to remove the 4 screws holding the duct on that the filter slides into and remove the pen and any lint that's in the duct,if the filter is inside remove the bottom panel, remove the filter and take off the duct and clean it out, next time send model number

Havent used my ti-inspire since last school year.wont turn on

Hello,
Here is what the TI knowledge base says about a calculator failing to turn on

For the TI-Nspire™ Family:
  1. Remove thekeypad (for TI-Nspire) or the battery door (for TI-Nspire CAS) andremove at least 1 battery from each column of batteries. After 2-5seconds, reinsert the batteries and turn the unit on. This will causethe unit to reboot the operating system.
  2. Remove the keypad(for TI-Nspire) or the battery door (for TI-Nspire CAS) and remove atleast 1 battery from each column of batteries. After 2-5 seconds, reinsert the batteries and LEAVE THE UNIT OFF (do not turn on and thenback off). Hold down [Home] [Enter] [P], and while holdingthese keys, press [On]. The device will boot up as in the previousreset, but will display a menu with the following options. Please tryoptions 1, 2, 3, and 4 in that order. ** The [Home] key is located atthe top right of the TI-Nspire keypad and has a picture of a house onit.
Note:TI-Nspire family model options 2 and 4 above require that the OS be installed. The reset menu will only display if the unit is off and batteries have been removed/replaced as described above.

1. Cancel - The most non-intrusive reset option; no changes are made, the unit restarts.
2. Delete Operating System – The operating system will be deleted without deleting any documents.
3. Delete Document Folder Contents – This will delete the user’s documents, but will not delete the OS.
4. Complete Format – This will delete the OS and all documents for a total erase of memory.

Hope it helps you solve the problem.

Acer laptop wont turn on has power button light up

This is a common problem with Acer units, both desktop and laptop. The motherboard fails to read the system BIOS at startup. Removing the battery from a laptop merely removes the power source, but not the stored memory. If you are able to locate the CMOS battery, or the cell battery the size of a US quarter dollar, that is the system battery. Remove that, wipe with a lint free cloth (coffee filter) then replace.

If that effort fails upon replacing the cleaned CMOS battery and laptop eneregy source, then a new coin cell may be the solution.

If a new coin cell fails to resolve the problem, the motherboard itself is the culprit. Time for a new laptop or desktop.

Hope this helps you...
