SOURCE: cub cadet 2135 mower wont shut off with the key

It seems that you have a broken stop wire. Trace the wire from the electronic ignition to the ignition switch. It usually is a black wire.
This is an adjustment problem I think. Make sure with engine off and the unit jacked up adjust the lever that engages the blades. Good tension when actuated and loose when realeased. Hope this is a help to you. donnyb60

SOURCE: Z force 48 in. cub Cadet mower starts but dies

Check the wires to the seat switch. Under the seat you should find 2 wires connected to the seat. Unplug them, and use a jumper on the end that goes into the body of the mower. Try it again, and if it works, replace your seat.

SOURCE: My Cub Cadet 2135 PTO won't engage.

i had the same thing happen
found that the on/off switch had come unplugged from the wire harness just below the switch
had to attach the wires to something underneath so the weight did not pull the wires down and taped the two switches together to prevent it from pulling apart
it needs some kind of clip to hold them together
hope that this works for you

Going to try this again, cub cadet rider mower leaking oil into air filter compartment, it's a 2135 with a 13 HP Command OHV motor

Sounds like a crankcase ventilator is plugged up. It serves the same purpose as a pcv valve on automobile.

I have a cub cadet 2135 and can't find the safety switches

There should be one under the seat, there is one under the frame on the clutch/brake linkage midway from the front and back of the tractor, and one built into the elec.pto switch.

Cub cadet 2135 wont start

check for a fuse behind the ignition
it might be blown
then i would check the starter solenoid
if you put a screwdriver accross the bolts that hold the wire from the starter and ignition switch and it tries to start there's ur problem.
