Can only find update for 64 bit vista on hp website and when I run that driver download I am unable to find the driver in device manager to map it to webcam
This is the link to the HP site for Win 7 64 bit. Delete any webcam showing in device manager, download driver,extract and run - it should then appear correctly and any application using a webcam ( Skype etc ) will see it

A USB cable will not transfer video from this camera. you have to have the video cable, which plugs in at the bottom of the front of the camera, next to the S-video. Hope this helps.
