Hi, if it still hard to push with the scooter turned off, you maybe looking at the brake not releasing 100%, make sure any manual brakes are releasing okay.

Now if the magnetic brake situated on the side of the motor is not releasing 100% (clicking sound ) that will cause the problem you describe, it will get hot ,,, because of the fiction when in use ..

get some wd40 or better gt85 and spray in the gap between the motor and brake, get the wheel of the ground safely and run the scooter, the spray will help the brake release if it's sticking , BUT WARNING , REMEMBER you LUBRICATED a BRAKE so it will slip for a while ..

The brake is a electro magnet so it may be that it need to be replaced, at worse it a controller fault.

Regards
Rob

SOURCE: Canon EOS Digital Rebel

Hi

If your camera is less than a year old then you should try sending it in to Canon for repair. If the camera is more than a year old you will have to take care of the repair yourself. If you take the camera to a 'camera shop' they will tell you its $200 to do the repair, but I know a place that will do it for MUCH cheaper Google: Darntoothysam com.

The fuse on the PCB (Printed Circuit Board) has most likely blown to save the board from being shorted and ruined. All you need to do is replace the fuse and you should be good to go! If you are skilled with fixing things and pay close attention to detail you can do it yourself.

If you don't want to do it, I know of a digital camera repair shop that can help you out. (Google: Darntoothysam) I don't think we have a no-power repair listed in the store, but we can get it added for you, no problem. We have a certified Canon, Nikon and Fuji tech do this repair for us, he has repaired hundreds of cameras for us over the past 5 years and does a great job.

If we can help with the repair, please let us know. Good luck from Darntoothysam com

SOURCE: When to recharge batter

Generally with rechageable batteries, the first charge is critical for setting the life and capacity.

The strict rules are:

1) on the first charge, fully charge the battery without interuption for the full amount of time, (Usually 8 hours).
2) on the first use of the battery, fully discharge the battery without recharging it, At All.

These two rules set the charge capacity for the battery. To get the longest life and fullest charge out of your battery, don't fail to be patient with these.

After the first complete charge and complete discharge cycle, you may place your device on the charger whenever it's not in use. Eventually the battery will hold a stronger charge for a longer time, usually after three or four good uses. The battery should work well for about three or four years before you need to replace it.

Failing the two rules for the first charge and discharge, will require you to settle with lower performance of your device, or immediate replacement of your battery.

This information is usually misleading since buying more accessories, or another vaccum is in the best interests of the manufacturer.

Note: Sometimes rechargeable batteries do have manufacturing defects, and can be replaced under warranty of quality of workmanship. Since the battery cannot be tested before it's sold, getting a warrantee replacement is usually the best option in the event that your machine isn't performing properly.

SHELBY ANTRIM'S MERITS MOBILITY SCOOTER HAS AN ELECTRIC SHORT SOMEWHERE BUT EVERYTHING ELSE WORKS THE LIGHTS THE TURN SIGNALS AND THE HORN AND IT HAS NEW BATTERIES

turn the speed up some, unplug Charger, put brake lever in drive mode - hard to push, restart with the key. make sure no damage has happened to the wiring harness that connects to the back. Circuit break may need to be pushed in. this is a start. Next thing would be the Throttle and speed pot.

Pride Celebrity x. Batteries drain quickly despite new full charged batteries. When scooter is pushed in freewheel- brakes engage every few feet. Have to turn scooter on/off to get brakes to release.

hi Diane, the brake engaging is by design, distance is the key here

Have you tried another charger ?

1. when pushing the scooter in freewheel before the brake engages , is it easy to push ? what can happen is the brake does not release 100%, a easy test is to run the scooter then put your hand on the brake unit , is it hot ? be careful because it could be very hot , this will prove the brake is not releasing fully.

My merits power chair is two years old but never been used. it wont charge though the charger light is flashing on and off, do i need new batteries? how long do it takes to charged

Batteries don't like just sitting around, they like to cycle that is discharge and charge. Yes you most likely need new batteries. Long slow charging is best for batteries, I would give them 8 to 12hrs.

My gogo ellite scooter back wheels wont move its like they are stiff everything else working

Possible problem with your Transaxle or Solenoid Brake. More likely to be the Solenoid as this would explain there being no noise when you push it (in order to push it you have to disengage the solenoid hence no noise). This is a small magnetically operated brake attached to the end of your motor and they can sometimes bind on causing noise - heat buildup and excessive battery drain amongst other things. they usually are held on with 3 or 4 small allen bolts and are very easy to replace .. Hope this helps

My grandaughter moved and in the moving lost her tablet for about 3 months. Obviously it lost the charge. I have been able to partially recharge but lost the functionality. Would a new battery be th

A new batter could be the issue as to the particles being dead for such a long time. I would try charging it for a while and try puling the battery out and see if it will perform with just the charger plugged in. If the device is working with the battery but dying quickly then the issue is with the batter.

No charge

The brake and the motor are all one piece. To replace the brake means to replace the motor.
