SOURCE: SAMSUNG HT-TZ212 home cinema kit comes up with protect

Protect mode will kicking whenever a fault is detected.

Causes that can start protect mode are:

Electrostatic harges on internal circuits.
Leave the unit unplugged for power for one hour or so, this will allow discharge.

Bad speaker wiring.
Check speaker wiring, try unplugging and plugging back, or start after removing one speaker at the time.

Internal fault.
Internal fault is the natural cause for protect mode. If all the above did not work, then the problem is a blown component or an internal fault. In this case the unit must be taken apart , tested and repaired by an experienced person.
If the unit is less than one year old, or if you want to get service, call Sony at the phone number listed on the product documentation.

Regards.

SOURCE: i have a samsung model ht-tz215/xeu dvd i switch

HI,
With regards to your recent query, when you
get a 'Protection' message on your unit it usually means the unit is
overheating. Please make sure there is nothing blocking the air vents on
the unit, nothing is sitting on top of the unit and that it is not near
any hot items like radiators. Please also check the cables that connect
the speakers, disconnect them all, reconnect, turn the unit off and back
on. If you have checked all of the above and the same thing still
happens, try resetting the unit, full instructions can be found in the
troubleshooting part of the user guide. Where did you purchase the
product?

ELSE

DO THIS

Pressing the STOP button on the front panel andholding it for 5 seconds". The power indicator flashes once and thesystem resets! wink.gif

Ah59 02291a remote wont connect to anything?

If your remote is a Samsung, it should be able to connect to your Samsung HT-C450. Although you say it has batteries in it, those batteries may be no good and fresh ones are needed. You need to determine whether your remote can be programmed to control your Toshiba TV. Instructions for using your remote could be useful for solving this problem.

When i turn on my samsung HT-Z110, the word "Protect" appears...

Protect mode will kick in whenever a fault is detected.

You get the unit not powering up, and sometimes you hear a clicking noise, that is the protection switch that keeps shutting down the unit.

Regards.
