What size battery is in a phillip crow pocket watch

Pop the back off the watch with a pocket knife and look, they use so many types of small button batteries it is hard to say, better to look at it and record the battery number.

I need help identifying waltham pocket watch

Try going to "http://www.antique-pocket-watch.com/".

This site seems to be a good point in the search for information on antique watches.

It has a few links to other sites.

Have a waltham pocket watch in an illinois case enameled dial with a recessed seconds dial at bottom with a numeric 6. seconds on face also. can't find year or pic of this watch

If you go to the web site "www.antique-pocket-watch.com/waltham-pocket-watch.html", you will find information about Waltham watches and if you read the serial number off the movement (open the back and read it off the back plate), you may be able to find out the year of manufacture.

How find serial number on ~1910 hamilton pocket watch?

The serial number is usually engraved on the movement. If you open the back of the watch, you should be able to see it.

I looked at the Hamilton pocket watch site (in might be helpful if you visit the site, simply type "hamiltonpocketwatches.com" into your search engine and your will be able to examine photos of a number of movements).

The position and size of the number varies but it shouldn't take to long to find. One of the pictures I found impossible to see the number but the rest I found, although sometimes you had to look quite carefully.

My Fossil VT2657 no longer works. I can see no physical damage, but it hasn't been used in years. I'm not even 100% sure how to wind it, but after quite a bit of winding in both directions it still...

it has a battrey or and atomatic winding gear. watch makers a stoped self winding watches due to people over windinfg and braking the watch. check battery it might be dead. or just shake the watch back and forth untill it starts again
