My chair wont turn off i press off and it keeps coming back on

Turn the chair on its side and check all bolts and screws that works the recliner. Mine had two bolts came loose and caused it to bind. Check all working parts and yes a little oil may not hurt.

I don't have a Jazzy 1113 ... mine is a jet 3 ultra and the controls seem to be identlcal and it too acts similarly particularly if I come to an abrupt stop by hitting an unseen object on the floor or a slightly raised threshold.
What I do is turn it off (power button) and after a few seconds turn it back on and find that the chair is ready to go again then I back up to see what that I hit.
The chair is very sensitive to approaching a threshold and the correct method is not to do it at an angle but in a direct (not angular) fashion.

Two reasons can cause this. One can be that the batteries are not strong enough to keep the chair turned on. Testing with a volt meter is required to verify this option. Another reason is that the joystick has a lockout system and you will need to press a certain combination of buttons on the joystick. Different manufactures have different combinations so I can't be more specific. Call the manufacture or a local wheelchair shop if you can with more information about your chair.

they wont as long as its turned on, sounds like he is fishing,and is not qualified or he would have a programmer for that chair and he could check error codes and tell u exactly what is wrong,call the dealer for a more exsperienced tech and give model of chair and request he have a programmer for that model power chair okif he comes without that ptogrammer send him back and dont pay him

Move the freewheel levers back and forth so the chair does not move drive position

When the lights go back and forth on your joystick that means the chair knows its pluged in .Now the chair itself has a built in charger that is mounted on the back of your chair .The back of the chair ,there is a opening a cutout in the frame .when you plug in your chair there will be a red light and a yellow ,yellow means the chair is charging, wait till it turns green,this means fully charged.When you plug in the chair youll see the lights through that hole.Look for the lights.

I recommend my customers to leave there chair charging over night look at the light it will be green when you turn the chair on the joystick should show fully charge.

Normally the power chairs will not operate when connected to the charger. If you mean the controller comes on when connected to the charger but it wont come on when the charger is disconnected, I would test the batteries first, then the connections and fuses. Did a technician inspect your power chair to determine a controller was needed, or was that just a guess by the representative over the phone? If your insurance will not cover the repairs, I would recommend spending $50 for a technician from Hoveround to come out and inspect the chair to determine what is needed to fix it so you know for SURE. It may be something simple and inexpensive.

hold joystick back, press on button, move joystick forward, then let go.

The flashing will come on if the chair is in neutral or if the charger is still plugged in when you turn it on. Place the chair in neutral (freewheel) by shifting the levers out, then place firmly back into drive.

Unplug from the charger and it should fire up. Sometimes, the chair will also go into "sleep mode".
Check your owners manual for this. Note, some have sleep mode potential but it's not in the manual, and if someone inadvertantly hits the right series of motions with the joystick, you can inadvertantly put it to sleep. Try turning the chair off, wait three seconds and power back up, then immediately press the "horn" button. This wakes up most of them. Others you need to power off, turn back on and then move the joystick forward, backward then forward again.

sounds like blown fuse which is at rear of chair. may be underneath rear cover. this fuse wont keep the chair from working, however, it will keep the charging from working.
