SOURCE: E1 fault code Dishwasher runs for

Hi,
I think both the heater and thermostat / trip switches need to be checked.
If water is going in and out ok, then it seems to be waiting to heat the water. It sees a fault - so just clears out.
Heating elements do fail after a few years.

SOURCE: error e1. washing machine will not drain

Two problems. Step one check the drain pump motor, to see if it draining the water out. Next step if the drain pump working you have a clock in the hose between the drain from the tub to the pump. Messy job witht he machine being full of water. I suggest take a small bucket and empty try to empty it out as much as you can.

SOURCE: I have a Baumatic integrated

Hi.

E1 in Baumatic washing machine is Leakage error.

In your case, if you have a BDW13, then we are talking about an integrated dishwasher, not about a washing machine.
On the BDW13 control (and on all Baumatic dishwashers), E1 message means Long fill error. The error is prompted when a water inlet problem is encountered.

The first thing to do is moving the appliance, and checking hoses and faucets at the back.

If hoses are OK, then the inlet valve and water level switch must be tested.

Inlet valve is tested reading impedance at valve solenoid contacts. If the valve is working OK, and the machine is filling, then the water level switch must be tested.
Some Baumatic also have a controlled fill that uses a reservoir, in case that must also be checked.

Most of the time the problem is caused by a kinked hose at the back of the appliance, move the dishwasher out and have a look.
Remember to disconnect power before doing any operation.

Regards.

Ginko.

SOURCE: my roper washmachine will not

It is so common that the drain cloggs and is the most problematic fault in a washing machine. In all occasions it is important that your observation is most important and so is vital to the identification /rectification and solution. If you have noticed that water has leaked then as the drain hose pump/valve and fittings are located on the underside of the machine it is important that you look for possible leaks here. In some cases the drain hose would be clogged at the drain end to outlet of the house and so there will be back flushing resulting in overflow to the outside. Also the drain pump/valve can be clogged or the drain hose clamps can be loose on the grip which can all cause the leak to occurs. Removing and Cleaning the drain pump/valve, tightening of the hose is also very important. The dain pump /valve must be tested and if fault must be replaced.

Toshiba top load washers have standard error codes. Depending on the display (2 or 3 digits depending on the model) it will either show E21 (or E23) or alternate E2 and -1 (or E2 and -3). Here's a list of most Toshiba washers error codes;

E1: Water doesn't drain in time or not at all
E21: Lid open
E23: Lid not locking
E31: Load imbalance
E32: Check E1 and/or E31
E5: No water coming in

You can try resetting to factory default by following the procedure: Power OFF, then pressing and holding the Super Spin Dry button, press power ON and it should beep 3 times. E2 error code aw 8990st toshiba wash Washing Machines

The E1 error code indicates a water inlet error. Do you still have your manual to test for this?

E1 Error code - no leaks - new pump - new pc board in Dec. 09

The most common reason for an E1 error on an LD dishwasher (that does not have a leak, including directly under the dishwasher) is the drain hose between the dishwasher and the drain does not have a rise in it between the DW and the drain. Either install a proper AirGar valve or attach the hose to the bottom of the counter top so that it raises 30" between the DW and the drain. When that raise does not exist, the laws of physics tell you that you WILL have a siphoning effect from the DW into the drain, causing the LG to report error code "E1", which is true because of the water leaving the DW during all the wash and drain cycles.
Good Luck!
