I bought this at a retail and it really didn't give me instructions on how to use it. I figured out how to download but I want to reset my music and start a whole new list and that's where I'm having a problem.

Connect your M240 to your computer via the usb, go to My Computer and
you should see it listed there as M240. Double click to open and delete
the files you want to remove.
Or you can use windows media player .. by going to FILE, OPEN and choose the M240 (will located under My Computer).
As for the lock .. check on the left side of the player slide the HOLD button UP to unlock the files.

not the best solution perhaps, but I just formatted the disc and all data is gone. Had to do it as for some reason, the old music files weren't showing, but disc space was taken.

The problem is that all of the sudden it locked and does not obbey any command. The only thing I can do is to turn it on and off.

I cannot use my windows media player where i sync my music, to delete the songs from it. I want to put new ones but have no way of deleting them. What do I use on this new vista program to erase these songs.
