check mower deck is not caked up with grass if it is it will not get enough air movementto force the grass up the chute
also try cutting in 2or3 passes so that you are not forcing too mush grass up the chute
hope this helps

one of the safety switches are bad it could be the seat are the clutch are the blade switch you can try jumping a wire to the posts after you unplug them one at a time
SOURCE: Cub cadet Z Force 48 inch zero turn blades won't engage
I hope this will help you...under the side panels on each side of the mower, there are "reverse lockout safety switches", they are supposed to stop the blades when both handles are pulled back. If one or both of the switches are out, the deck will not engage. Also, under the right side panel (when sitting on seat) there should be 3 relay switches, the one closest to the motor controls the PTO., if this is out, the PTO will not engage.

Im sorry but your motor has went to motor heaven, and most of the tme its cheaper to buy a new motor than it is to repair it and bring it back to life,
SOURCE: my cub cadet mower LT1042 will not start. It acts
Just had the same problem with our LT1042 and it was the fuel shut off soloniod. Could not buy just that piece so we took it off and cut off the piece that went up on the carborator and put it back on. Started right up. Now it back-fires when we shut it off but it runs.
