I have the same unit. First, remove the hood. Then, the motor has an adjustment screw on the belt side of the motor. Loosen the nut a little, adjust the motor up or down to make the belt as tight as you can by hand, then re-tighten the nut. This always fixes mine.

You may have a slipping motor belt. This is connected to the front roller.
The belt tightening 7 turns tells me the belt may now be damaged anyway .

Stopped in Belt had been slipping smelled hot but motor was barely warm. Was 30 minutes into workout and machine stopped. Electric panel works but motor won't run.tilt works

time to lube the DECK belt, use WD-40 or grease. do it by each weeks. Try to loose the deck belt. in the way that you lift the belt by 2" with your finger. Otherwise, you must replace the belt+deck. See if the belt drive is to tight. And take time for maintenance the motor, replace the carbon brush+and lube the bearing.

Squeaky Nordictrack C1900

see the video attached. lube the rollers bearing front+back . Test the drive belt motor for to loose or faulty belt, and fix it.
However if the problem persist, TIME to replace the old board deck.

My Nordic Track A 2050 is slipping. At first I noticed it slip from time to time in my 45 minute workout, but at the end, it was like I was on ice. I love this treadmill, is there a way to fix it?

Have you tried adjusting the rear roller bolts with an allen wrench? That usually works for me.

Unfortunately now I have a slipping problem that tightening the belt via the roller bolts doesn't fix. In fact, I feel as if the belt is too tight as it only lifts about 2" instead of the recommended 3-4". Hope we get some other ideas here!
