It is reading hot because the temp is over its over its set point.Heat relay could be sticking. Contactor could be hung in closed position, element could be shorted.Check to make sure once set temp is reached computer is not calling for heat.Look on control board behing computer make sure the HT light is not on.If it stays on replace circut board. If HT light is off and continues to heat check amp draw on elements. If you have amperage and the contactors are open you have a bad element.

My frymaster just got boiled out. And when we put in the new oil and turned it back on the display said "O-HI" on the left side and "problem" on the right side. What could cause this...

without model number, I can only talk generically. This sounds like the high limit is open and needs to be reset. The partstown website I attached should take you to where you can find your manual and this should help you fix it.

Hi, Frymaster electric fryer. When unit is turned on the right display shows "prob" and it beeps

Hi,
There is a problem in the system. The problem is usually a sensor that is not reading correctly or not working right.
To troubleshoot this type of problem it is best to call the factory tech. support people and have them walk you through the troubleshooting. then they can also guide you to getting the proper replacement parts. For a problem that is showing up like that you will need OEM parts anyway.

NOT RECEIVING MESSAGES

Not sure but if its a GE answering machine if you turn on the answer feature and then hold down the message skip button for 2 or 3 seconds and release it changes the language back to english. If you then hold down the review/playback button (keep holding) it beeps, after the beep speak your message when done release the button. If you want to review your message press the review/playback(cant remember exactly what its called) and release it.

Lg dishwasher stops throughout the full cycle

If you are still having problems with your LG dishwasher, turn off the hot water supply to the dishwasher and remove the hot water inlet pipe (remove the lower, front panel (toe kick plate) )
Check the screen/filter at the water inlet on the dishwasher.
Reconnect the pipe and turn the hot water supply back on.
Test out and enjoy!

Fryer not starting

I'm suspecting one of the following causes:

1. The thermo couple/thermo pile
2. Gas valve sticking, intermittant operation, doesn't snap open when required all the time. THIS CAN ONLY BE PROVED WITH A MANOMETER and specialized meter that can measure thermocouple or thermoppile current, and volt meter.

I've worked on many a McDonalds Frymaster beeping fryers that intermittantly go into ignition failure that TURNS OUT TO BE THE ACTUAL GAS VALVE FAILING TO SNAP OPEN, and hang only once in a while. Gas valves are only good for so many operations, once that has been reached start failing. The indicator you gave, IT WAS USED BEFORE YOU GOT IT makes me believe it is your gas valve!

ps: manual for your unit

Frymaster fryer keeps calling for help on electronic keyboard.

There should be some kind of spark sensor usually where the gas line plugs into the pot. There is one wire hooked to it take the sensor out and clean it good. Soot could be building up on it causing it to nolonger sense a flame.
