My seiki se32hy volume does not work. Tried new bateries in control, tried with manual volume at tv, does not work. is it the sound card? one day was working the next day was silent.

Sounds to me like a problem in the tv, not the remote. A short maybe, or a bad connection somewhere.

u can do it....re-conenct the USB sound card....but only after u do the foll...
can u get into BIOS ?
if yes...
then dissable onboard sound in BIOS...then save config in BIOS using the save and exit option in BIOS menu....then connect ur USB sound card to the USB port and connect ur speaker to the sound output in that...and reboot...
now it should work...
ur system will auto detect
