My sansung washer keeps getting a 5c or sc code on the front

It is actually “5C” which is an error code informing you that it is not draining properly. There is a small access door on the lower left of the machine. Open that door, get a bucket and put the hose behind that door in the bucket and remove the plug. After all the water drains out, then remove the trap filter by unscrewing it. Clean that out and your problem should be fixed

does it still have water in it,it says this error is a drain problem,next time send the brand name and model number,5c or sc for a samsung washer is a drain problem.

birdy, this 2E is the code for voltage to the motor control is either over or under specifications. You might have a harness loose on the motor control board. I have run into a few of these where all it was, is one harness not seated all the way. I believe you can get to it by removing the back center panel and it should be down on the right. Check all the harnesses going to it. Reset them if possible. You can also try putting it through the self test. Press and hold the chime and xtra rinse button together for 3 seconds. When the display shows 0, press and hold the wash/rinse and soil level keys for 3 seconds. It should go in the self test mode. It will check all the componets. If it passes, it will display a PA. If an error exists it will display SC. Look for a code of 91. Catriver..post back
