You can contact Ferro Works and they will send you a new CD with maps on it. They were not very clear on how updated the Version is. I called them and had a commitment of a new CD to be sent to me within fifteen minutes of dialing.

On Garmin gps there is several ways to update your maps you can buy the sd update card, the cd, or upload it from the garmin website using a usb cord sold seperatly. the updates can range from $70 dollars to $120. I work at best buy and we carry all the updates for garmin

No myguide have gone bust! If the maps on your unit are on an sd card you can get torrents and install them on there. If the maps used to be on the unit itself you should use the map cd that came with it

grab a 1gb sd card and put Tom Tom 7 on it instead.
google for Simple Sat Nav forums, sign up and then u can download to ur hearts content and stick some decent maps and better software on your unit.
it's really easy!
