As always verify all cords are plugged in properly. After that it sounds like you power supply went out. It is not that hard to replace. Make sure you unplug power cord. After you remove the pc cover, Usually you just need to unscrew 4 screws for the power supply. Somewhere on the power supply it should say how much watts it is. Anywhere from 200 watts and up. Just replace with exact wattage.

Power supply in HP slimline s7310n

It sounds like the CPU is over heating. It probably has poor ventilation. Unplug the unit and open the side panel. Carefully vacuum all the dust inside. Be careful not to damage any electronics. You can use a small brush to loosen the dust before vacuuming. Good luck!

My power supply is blinking green light and my PC has no power

plug your pc directly to your wall outlet and see if it turns on. If it works, then the problem is your power supply. If power supply has a reset button, press it and try again. If pc does not turn on when plugged to wall outlet, then power supply for pc may be out.

D530s will not power up, odd blinking green LED on mobo

Ok, this is acting as if your MB is getting power but doing nothing with it. This very well could be a MB problem where something (unknown without looking at it) is fried. Just for grins, take the cmos battery out and let the pc sit for 1/2 to 1 hr before putting it back. If this does not work, I would contact HP for a replacement MB.
