SOURCE: Bunn UPR warmer too hot

Try connecting two elements in series. See if this keeps it hot enough. (One switch controlling both burners.) See if another brand of burner will fit in the hole. Check to see if the wattage is lower.

Hi, you can go to www.bunnomatic.com, and select for home or commercial units, and get an 800 number to call for service and parts. If they cannot help you a appliance repair shop should be able to get you going, thank you.

SOURCE: WATER NOT HOT

This is caused by one of three things - either your limit high limit thermostat is gone, your thermostat is sticky, or your element died. Try turning your thermostat up or down a little bit. if your thermostat is stuck, this will usually start it again. Look for any burnt wires as well, because sometimes they will burn off of a contact.

SOURCE: Bunn coffee maker trips the breaker

It is possible that you have a short in your limit thermostat, but most likely this is caused by small holes in your main heating element. these units start to split length ways down the element, causing a short to ground through the water. These elements are readily available at your local Bunn repair shop.

SOURCE: water wont come out of my bunn coffee maker

The first pot of water you put in the coffee maker just fills the water tank which is then heated up , once it gets to temperature you then pour second pot of water this pushes the hot water out of the tank through the coffee grounds into the waiting pot. This way you can make coffee faster than a regular coffee maker.

Jus got coffeemaker for Christmas...love it. I make coffee in it and the burner goes off in about 30 minutes and don't keep the coffee hot. I cant make the burner come back on...why?

The 30 minute machine shut off is a protective control. If you want to continue to use the coffee after 30 minutes, you can try the following:

1- Transfer the coffee in a Thermos immediately after coffee is made and hot.
2- Transfer the coffee in a metal pot with a lid and place it on a burner at the lowest flame setting.

Manufacturers try to included features for most common and popular use. There is no coffee maker that will suit individual circumstances, like & conveniences.

The top burner on our bunn coffee maker is getting to hot, causing the coffee to pop, do you have any suggestions on how to fix this problem? Please advise

Bunn makes a spacer that goes on top of the burner to put space between the burner and the coffee pot, or you can make your own out of a coat hanger. The only other way to fix this is to replace the warmer plate.

Warmer gets to hot over heats coffee

Your coil may be shorting out on your warmer.
Try using the upper warmer and see if the same thing happens. If not, a cheap solution is to swap burners and order a new one . If both overheat, you have too much voltage going to your bunn.

Are you leaving the machine plugged in all of the time? If not, you need to. The machine takes approximately 10 minutes to get to full temperature the first time then the water should stay hot from then on. Or it could be that you just need to turn up the thermostat. No, the water won't get hotter sitting on the burner and the coffee won't taste as good if the water you are brewing with isn't hot enough.

To get to the thermostat, unplug the machine and take the two screws on the top lid off. You should see a box that has a knob or a T sticking out of it. Turn it up a little bit, put the lid back on and let the heat up for a little while (10 - 15 minutes). Try brewing with just plain water. If it still isn't hot enough, repeat the steps above. Make sure you don't turn up the thermostat so much that the water boils.
