Mtd yardman dx70 ride on fuel not getting through after 10 mins of running. replaced fuel line no difference not sure of what else to do cheers australia

if it dies when it gets hot and starts after cooling. it is boiling the fuel. move the fuel line away from the heat at the engine. maybe put some foam wrap on it. ir the coil may be breaking down at hot temperatures. be sure the fins are clean so the engine can cool itself.

Sounds more like linkage may be bad, and not going into the forward "position"

Have you tried to see if the gas flow is good or the tank filter is blocked up.good luck

The only thing I can think of,is the V-belt is jammed,but if you have a electronic PTO that shouldn't make a difference ,can you rotate the engine by hand ?

does it have a fuel filter? if it does clean it, if not look at the fuel line it might be cloged from gas sitting too long

My HE4160 goes like hare in reverse and like a turtle forward.
Any drawings showing how the springs are fittted behind the left back wheel.
