Check it for fuel blockages: put a flat roasting pan under the burner. remove dial on fuel valve as it enters the burner. Remove fuel line from burner pump. Reinstal fuel valve dial and check for good fuel flow. If no.. clean and change your filter at the tank. If that is sludged, clean it and retest.. There is also a filter inside the pump. If none of this makes any sense...Call a tech!

Clean or replace the flame sensor you can attempt cleaning it by pulling it out and using a scotch rite pad on the rod. Just scratch off the black carbon and retry or replace it to be sure

SOURCE: Goodman GMS90904CXA Wont ignite, light blinks 3 times

Ok, you either have a inducer fan issue or a pressure switch issue or a plugged vent pipe. The inducer turns on to establish a draft for the exhaust. If it is not working you will get this error code. If the pressure switch does not sense pressure caused by the inducer, it will give this code. If either the intake pipe or exhaust pipe is blocked (even y just a little) it will give you the same error code. If the condensate hose or receptical is plugged, again it will give you this error code. Good Luck!

SOURCE: furnace burner ignites then goes out

Sound like a thermocouple, or flame sensor.
If it has flame sensor make sure you check micro amps to verify operation, because it might be the board that controls the sensor.

SOURCE: Goodman furnace burner ignites then shuts off in about 10 seconds

if you have replaced the flame sensor and it will not stay lit, the draft safety switch may be opening. It works on positive and negative pressure created by the inducer fan motor. You may have a restriction in your heat exchanger or if is a high efficiency furnace, it may not have the drain tube installed properly with a trap. The trap works just like the trap under your sink and if water isnt in the trap, the pressures can be effected enough to open the draft switch(some call it an air pressure switch)

SOURCE: My York Stellar PLUS furnace (Model

Check gas pressure, inspect manifold & make sure there is not a blockage.Make sure gas is present and main gas shut off valve to furnace is on also check the knob on the 24 volt gas valve and see if it is in the on position , check the MV terminal on the gas valve to 24 volt common with a volt tester to see if you have 24 volts present, if you do have 24 volts at gas valve, replace valve. if you do not have 24 volts at gas valve check high limit control & roll out limits for a open circuit, Good luck.

My good man furnace model gmh80903bnca will not get to temp fan shuts off and burners keep burning then kicks off on high limit then starts process over but never gets to temp set at 655

If you have a switch that can manually turn on the fan, try it to verify the fan works. This is what I think is happening. The normal operation should be thermostat calls for heat, inducer fan comes on, pressure switch closes, igniter glows, main burner ignites and then in 30 or so seconds the fan comes on and stays on until the thermostat is satisfied. Once the thermostat is satisfied the burner shuts off and the fan runs for approx 120 seconds then shuts off. I think the control board that automatically turns your fan on is faulty. On most modern furnaces if the auto fan control fails and the furnace gets to hot and limits, when the limit opens and shuts off the burner it also energizes the fan motor to cool the heat exchanger.

Atwood 38591 Excalibur xt 1522 LP two stage furnace. Operates on high fan only

Hi Dave. I'm Roger. Its normal for a furnace to shut down completely when the set point on the thermostat is reached. The first and second stages are used when the temp. gets close to set point. The heat output drops to its low stage at around 3 degrees before set point. Check your owners manual for specifics on the fan though.

Atwood 1522 LP furnace fan operates at one speed only

Furnace only works at one speed, high and low fan is usually used for AC. It never has had 2 speeds on furnace correct? Furnaces usually only have 1 speed, except for some home models.

Goodman furnace Model GDS80703AXBB -fan comes on then igniter light comes on, then burners turn on but shut off right away and wont stay lit. Now igniter light wont come on so burners not coming on at...

Sounds like either the flame sensor is not working.
The sequence for starting the furnace is:
1. extraction fan on
2. pressure sensor (for fan)
3. ignitor (spark or glow plug) comes on
4. gas valve opens up
5. ignition of flame
6. flame sensor (or temperature sensor)
7. plenum temp. sensor
8. main fan starts
It is most likely that the flame sensor is dirty or gone,
or (and I hope not), the module is gone and needs to
be replaced.

Atwood motorhome furnace won't stay lit

I would say this is your electronic ignition system but it sounds like it is not getting gas. This is why they do a 3 time try and shut off. Check you supply line right down to the regulator. Hose could have got partially kinked along the line as well.

BLOWER FAN WONT SHUT OFF WHEN THERMOSTATE IS OFF

The compressor coming on when the contact is pushed is o.k. they all do that. As for the blower fan not shutting off, some brands (Payne for example) the heating fan relay is a n.c. (normally closed ) relay. so if the time delay relay or thermal link are bad or not connected, the fan will blow even when it is turned off.
