Which model do you have? The Ergorapido EL1014A has a charging station. On that model, the charging adapter plugs into the port on the bottom of the floor section of the charging station. This port is below the wall section of the charging station. For the Ergorapido Lithium Ion Plus 2 in 1 vacuum, EL2055B, the charger plugs into a port on the back of the main vacuum above the neck to the roller brush head. If it will not come on there are several things you need to check. First off you should call and have your model type and serial number checked to be sure your unit isnt affected by the recall they had due to expanding batteries. Second you do have a 2 year warranty on the unit and if it wont even turn on there may be a defect. Are the blue charging lights coming on? If they are and your transformer is warm then there is more then likely a defective battery in the unit and you should contact customer service at 1800-896-9756
