You need sewing machine timing instructions. There was no information provided on the make and model of your machine. You can check on you tube for videos or take it into a repair place.

SOURCE: Needle & Bobbin out of sync

This description sounds like the machine is out of time. The needle should match up with a cut out section in the bottom of the bobbin area. If it is hitting, the timing has slipped, probably from sewing on a fabric that was too heavy for the machine.

SOURCE: bobbin case retainer popping out on Singer Touch & Sew 625

Take the bobbin case out. Then when you go to put it in, realize there are 2 ways to get it. You have found one way. The other way is first look in the the slot with a flashlight before you insert it. There is a flat piece of metal the bracket needs to be slid under as it is inserted. This acts like a spring making it tight

SOURCE: needle hits bobbin case...

If the needle hits the bobbin case the are only 2 things that could be wrong. Lets hope its the easy one, there are more than one length of needles, if the needle is to long or it is not all the way up in the neelde bar, the needle will hit the inside of the bobbin case. Now if that is not the problem then the machine is out of time. ALWAYS check the easy stuff FIRST.

SOURCE: Needle breaking, hitting bobbin case

I had this problem and it is very easy to fix!
With mine I looked at it for about half an hour, and all I needed to do was put the bobbin case back in,(how it fits normally) and then hold it and turn it anti clockwise until it clicks, it may be quite pressured to do but ive heard a lot of people having this problem and thats all that needed doing!
Hope i helped! :)

My needle hits the plate under the bobbin case

Make sure you install a brand needle when it strikes. If the new needle still strikes, you should take the machine for service to have it adjusted.

Why does my needle keep breaking and bobbin case makes a clicking sound and locks up on me?

I'd guess the bobbin case is not firmly in place with the locking tabs. I believe the click is the needle striking the out of place bobbin. Your Owner's manual may give you some better understanding.

I think my husqvarna emerald 118 sewing machine needs to be timed.Bobbin keeps popping out, needle is hitting the bobbin case

If the bobbin case is correctly in position then the needle striking it is a sure fire indication that the timing has jumped. Time for a trip to your local sewing centre for a service and retime I would suggest.

Why on my cs60001 does the needle hit the bobbin case

The needle may be damaged or bent. Try a brand new needle for starters. Check the bobbin case to make sure it hasn't been damaged by the needle striking it.

Brother, btw, has one of the very best service departments of any company I know. They back their products.. this machine has a 25 year warranty, though I don't know when you got it of course. So if it's still hitting the bobbin, chances are it can be fixed. [ No, I don't work for them, just have a bit of experience with their service and it's always been excellent]

I have a CE-4000 model. In the middle of sewing,

When you put back in the bobbin case, there is a little "knub" that sticks out with a flat spot on the right (on the top side of it) that you need to ensure it rests gently to the left of the position finger bracket (silver metal piece, in the square of the bobbin case area its on the right closest to you).

When you put in initially, it was probably twisted clockwise and there was a gap between the knub and the position finger bracket and when you put the needle plate on in jams that bobbin case in that position and the needle just takes chunks out of it..

You might need a new bobbin case, try sanding out the needle marks with sandpaper.
