JVC model:LT-50EM76 flatscreen, Right side of screen is very dim. Which board can that be? The back lights appear to be working fine.

make sure there are no speakers at the side of the monitor as the may not be sheilded. then unplug monitor from the mains and plug back in to reset. or in the monitor menu select degauze .

There are two possibilities for said problem, either ccd imager chip is bad or aperture is not open located in lens mechanism.
Turn On camcorder while looking inside front lens, if you see aperture opens like an eye inside lens mechanism then ccd imager chip got bad and need to replaced and if aperture does not open then aperture needs to be checked, in either case a professional is needed to fix the problem because it is not user level repair and camcorder will take apart in detail.

You refrigerator has gone to a safe mode. You have to reset the control panel to get back to the normal mode .For that you have to press the top left the Energy Saver and top right Alarm buttons together for about 10 seconds--it will beep and reset the panel.
