I need to dismantle Olympus FE-270 Camera. I almost opened it but the pcb is not coming out of plastic chassis. It seems to be stuck somewhere behind the cell compartment. I also removed memory card which seemed obstructing, and also operated cell compartment lid switch to help pcb come out, but it still gets stuck somewhere

Blury photos & blury screen (fe 270)

Can be cause from many things.. most common would be dirty and/or scratched lens. Another cause could be condensation inside the device itself. Look into the lens and see if it seems misty or coudy.. at an angle also to see if the should be smooth lens is matte (rough). If it looks like it's misty or steamy behind the lens then that means you need to let it 'dry out' in a warm dry place.. or.. take it to a photo shop to have it maintained.

If your camera uses a memory card, just purchase an inexpensive card reader and download your pics to a folder you create on your desktop. Double-click that to open your pictures.

Olympus FE-270

Hi,
First check your warranty - you may be able to return it for repair under that - and yes it needs a repair. The metering system is now broken, The chances are you'll recieve a new one as it is more cost effective to them to do this. (keep the batteries)
