Take the wheel off and usually a screw will pull the seal out of the axle housing. clean and replace with new seal. be sure to oil the new seal so it wont bind up and leak

SOURCE: transmission oil ? for cub cadet tractor

Hi, Cissy, Every Cub Cadet is different, and they keep their manuals to themselves. With your exact model and serial number, you can go to their website and view the manual for your model which should have the type of oil you need. Their website is www.cubcadet.com and go to service. If you have trouble, let me know, but I will need the model and serial. Good Luck, this should Fixya!

Blown fuse. There is a fuse somewhere thats blown. It will be about a 15 amp in a fuse holder either back by the battery or behind the dash. U didnt specifiy the 100 number If thats a starter-gen it could be a reg- relay issue.

SOURCE: Cub cadet LTX 1045 steering problem......... Only

Probably a bent "drag link". See your owner's manual about checking for damage adjusting the steering. For the LTX 1045, it is "Maintenance Section 6", Page 22. If it is bent, repair or replace as mowerman1857 indicated.

You should also lubricate at the two grease fittings (per side) shown on Page 20 -Lubrication - "with a #2 weight Multi-purpose grease". It may have been skipped at the factory or may have been stored at high temperature before you got it, and dried out. (Text in quotes are from the manual)

Cub Cadet i1046 Zero Turn Mower won't drive. It is as if brake is on. Belt is okay. Also can't disengage rear drive with levers. Maybe a related problem?

Question edited for clarity, Cub Cadet, not 'club cadet', and added 'what it is.
Question moved to the correct category.

Sounds like you have clutch and drive problems. Take it in for service.

Why does the oil light flash on Cub Cadet LTX1050KW after changing oil and oil filter

Most of these reset by themselves after 3 hrs especially after the first oil change. There's nothing wrong and there's no reset button to push. I hope this helps. Take care.

My cub cadet LTX1045 won’t go forward or backwards

https://www.cubcadet.com/wcsstore/CubCadetCatalogAssetStore/Attachment/owners%20manuals/residential/LTX1045_769-04349.pdf

First check hydrostat bypass, see page 9 from above link. Transmission is sealed so there's no simple way to check fluid level and if you don't suspect it has leaked there little reason to check. If hydro-bypass is off, then the most likely cause is the traction drive belt. See parts diagram.

Applying brake causes drive belt to go slack, while releasing brake puts tension on the drive belt. So likely the belt has broken, or brake linkage moved out of place, or belt is so worn it no longer turns the transmission drive wheel.

Why is my Series 1000 LT1024 Hydrostatic Drive Cub Cadet not pulling?

In most cases the hydrostatic drives are not made by the company tractor or lawnmower.
This is in the owners manual.

Hydrostatic Transmission
The hydrostatic transmission is sealed at the factory
and is maintenance free. The fluid level cannot be
checked nor can the oil be changed. Always keep the
area around the transmission cooling fan free of grass
and debris at all times

My Cub Cadet, 15 hrs, will not climb my hill when it is hot, it just stalls, no power to rear wheels, does fine when the tractor is cold, could it be the transaxle ?

Is this unit hydrostatic? If its belt driven it sounds like belt is heating up and stretching causing you to lose friction needed to drive. Have you checked belts?
