There is an easy solution to this problem.

Sign into your Yahoo mail. Click options on the right hand side. Click Switch to Mail Classic.

You should be restored to the original Yahoo Mail.

If you want to use your old yahoo email, just simply type in the user name and password of the old yahoo account when you login to yahoo email. If you are referring with the new look of the yahoo mail. Please see procedure below:

1. Click "Help?" in the Upper Left-hand side of the Beta Mail screen.
2. Scroll down, click ? "Return to Original Mail" (or "Leave the Mail Preview")
3. Complete the brief questionnaire then click """Continue"""
4. Allow the mail page to Reformat.

If you don't see the "Return to original mail" option, then there is no way for you to get back to the previous original mail.

I am sorry! If you have deactivated your yahoo mail account as it cannot be restored back again.
I would suggest to read the conditions carefully before accepting to deactivate future yahoo mail accounts.

Yahoo has removed all the options to switch back to the classic mail. They are encouraging people to switch over to the new mail.

return to old e-mail format. top left corner is a button that says help. the 5th box down says return to old mail. Click it and it will ask your for feed back. Let them know the problems you had and click accept. you are now back to the stable previous yahoo format.

What are you referring to old yahoo account or old yahoo layout
