Can you tell me what model year my Frigidaire dishwasher is model FFBD2406NB7B

Reportedly about 18 years old. Kenmore appliances may be made by Frigidaire currently and this product number was originally attached to Kenmore appliances. Whether or not you can find a manual to an 18 year old dishwasher is anyone's guess. Remove the arms, clean debris from the holes and rinse well. Check the bearing surfaces are clean. After replacing them, make sure they spin freely.

Your owners manual should tell you what that pair of flashing lights mean, but I suspect it is because the system that detects water level has become clogged with debris and the DW is telling you it refuses to proceed without an accurate water level reading.

Level measurement systems vary but are usually in a float chamber on the side of the unit. Search for an "exploded" view (usually available at part supplier sites) for more 411.

And I assume you have pulled the bottom kick plate and looked there...in the plastic pouch that holds it. Most are already long gone...

How old is your dishwasher? That should tell you whether you need to buy a new one. If you still have the manual that comes with it it should tell you what model that is is.

The dishwasher is junk...poorly designed. Masterboard for electronic buttons keeps shorting out because the dishwasher vents from the top. have this dishwasher and know first hand. had it for about a year and its been fixed several times

The nomenclature should be located on the left side on the inside of the tub right by the front when you open the door. It is most likely an fdb series example fdb1050. however the drain hose pn 154606701 is the factory replacement for most frigidaire dishwashers ten years or less.

Check to make sure you heating element has not failed. Dishwashers of today heat the water periodically through out the cycle and if the element has failed. The heating delay light is the indicator that tells you that it is trying to heat the water.
