Dear Mrs Burger,
I have exactly the same problem with my Thomson, have you solved your problem yet? If so, what was wrong with your tuner?
Best regards
Sam
Sir,
You are suggested to check if you serial cable is in fine condition and it properly pluged into the Monitor and VGA. and do also try changing the serial cable .
The laptop must be in a standby mode. If this does not effect performance then your fine the light is not hurting nothing.
If and when in doubt take it into a bestbuy or a tech store to have it looked at locally as I cannot see what the light label is. Please do not worry about it if everything is working great.
Please leave your rating and review on my solution. Thanks
Take out the lamp and clean it. Look inside where the lamp was and you will see a thin peice of coloured plastic (colour wheel). Vacuum that plastic and all around it but don't touch it. This solution worked for me, and now my TV is as good as new.
