Doesn't play cd's or dvd's. Player says its LOADING for a few seconds then it says NO DISC

The laser pickup unit of your DVD player may either be faulty or dusty. Just put in a cleaning disc into it and play it for at least three times, and check. If it does not help you, the laser pickup unit of your device should be replaced with same type and number. Just check the loading belt too. OK.

the lens of dvd player is weak so replace the lens it will start working or use the lens cleaner it will hep you to check the lens either it is ok or not

Your DVD player is fu.k.d up.  These things are made so cheap now a days that it is more trouble to try to fix the thing, than going out and buying a new one.  You can try running a disc head cleaning kit through it first to see if that helps.

With the power turned off, open the DVD Player, and then open the top where you load the DVD into the player. Locate the laser lens and notice that the laser is attached to a transport assembly that moves the laser diagonally outward in a slot. 1. Slide this assembly outward to the end of its track. 2. Slide the assembly back inward to the closest inward position. 3. Repeat the process of sliding the assembly outward and then back inward.4. Put in a music CD and let it play all the way through. This helps to calibrate the laser head assembly movement. When the music CD is finished playing. 5. Put in a DVD, and you should have a working unit again This is a factory solution from Mintek that was given to a customer who ask for help with the forever loading disc problems. This solution may work on other models of portable DVD players. Most portable DVD players use this type of transport mechanism. Try this solution it might work for you. Hello I was looking to try and help you with your DVD player, we will start by loading a music cd store purchased, no burned cds please, if the cd loads and plays then your dvd player is either out of adjustment or going bad, most dvd players, i have worked on, will load and play a music cd, but will show loading errors when trying DVD's. If the music cd dosen't load then there could be an issue with the drive or tray. If the music cd plays just fine, then your laser is either out of adjustment or going bad. You can call the manufacuter to see if there is a process for resetting the DVD player, not all DVD players have this option, if resetting the DVD player dosen't work, but music cd's do then your laser lens is dirty or going bad. At this point you have three options 1) Take it to a repair shop, 2) Get an new one, 3) Get your hands dirty if your really handy and know what your doing to clean and replace the laser. There are a few different cleaning kits out there these days for DVD or CD players. I would recommend one that actually has fibers on it so the it brushes the lense of the DVD player. These cleaning kits can be found just about anywhere. Have you tried to clean it with anything?

Hi, Try cleaning the lens. A CD cleaner for PC CD/DVD will also work with DVD players. If problem is not corrected, you may need to seek the services of a qualified professional. Good luck and kind regards.
