Odds are U do not have a virus, go out and get a Sheild Deluxe or one similar to run on vista. If it is, it will clean it up if not then consider repairing the os or reloading it from your recovery cd.

Hello Garnie
Happy Holidays!
Well, if you don't have the OS cd, (that it is suppose to have it) or at least on one hard drive partition. and licence. You have to see what kind of virus you got? send me the name.,May be there is a tool to remove it. Or see your manual of your PC, to see if you got a OS partition to reformat your hard drive to factory settings. usually F2 or F10 key.
good Luck

It's very easy and useful to reset local administrator and user passwords on Windows Vista system.
Website: http://www.windowspasswordsrecovery.com
Get started with the download - 3 simple steps:
Step 1 - Download ( http://www.windowspasswordsrecovery.com/downloads/Windows_Password_Recovery_Tool_Trial.exe )
Step 2 -Burn your Windows Password Recovery Tool 3.0 CD:
To burn your CD, you'll need a blank CD-R and the .ISO file of Windows Password Recovery.
Step 3 - Put in your newly created CD and remove your Windows password.
It also supports usb drive.
Hope it helps.

Hey i got about 28 virus an would like to reset my computer to its origional from when i brought it can u help please

In order to do that your would need a windows (XP,Vista, Or 7) CD with a working CD Key.

If you only have virus's i would recommend this:
Boot into safe mode with networking:
Tap F8 after turning your computer on until you see a screen with many options, choose safemode with networking.
Then once your computer boots up, download and update malwarebytes: malwarebytes.org
Then run a fullscan and follow the directions to remove the virus's. Dont restart yet when its finished.

Open your Internet explorer and other browsers you use, and check for proxies:

Hi, i got a compaq v5000 with windows media center edition 2005 had a couple viruses on it so i nuked it, but only had a windows xp home edition 2002? disk. plus i didnt have the key for the disk so i...

I would suggest you to use the factory reset disc which you should have got along with the laptop and get your computer back to factory settings and if you do not have the disc then i would suggest you to call microsoft at 1800-936-5700 (U.S Toll Free number ) and they would be generating a new product key based on the part number which is at the back of your windows XP CD.

Hi

How will you remove the virus some viruses are not remove buy virus scanner only. The proper way to remove all viruses are to reformat you personal computer. You need to have a fresh copy of windows operating system. Reformat your computer just load a windows CD to your CD room drive.

The harddrive crashed.I have tried to reboot with original Windows Vista CD to no avail. The original owner did not install anti-virus program that came with computer plus used webcams and other stuff. By...

OK, first of all the blue screen appears only when windows is loaded so that means that you are still not rebooting from the cd, Turn on the computer and immediately press either the F1 key or the F2 key at one-second intervals to enter the BIOS setup utility. As the Guys at Gateway.com say it.
Then go to a screen called boot sequence which should allow you to choose from where the computer is going to restart from. make sure that the CD drive is first on this list then SAVE AND EXIT. after that, the windows vista cd should work.
make sure you press whatever key it wants you to press to enter to windows vista.

Installing xp on vista

I experienced that many many times, installed xp on vista based laptop is not a problem at all... I think it;s just an XP cd's, and it may absolutely contain virus...you can try another booting CD, or disabling antivirus at the bios first.

Tray starter and InstantWrite Control Center have stopped working!

I just read on another website that the program "Pinnacle CD/DVD Suite" is the problem. It gets installed along with Wordperfect and it needs to be un-installed. I had the same problem with the 2 pop-ups and then when I tried to put in a cd with pictures on it, my computer crashed. I have just un-installed the Pinnacle CD/DVD Suite on my computer and the messages are gone and I can run cd's again!!
