All the Epson DC-10s shows is little green and purple lines. It does not matter if I move it to another room, what VGA or what power cord I use. I have hooked it up to numerous projectors that have their own document cameras that are working fine. When I plug this document camera in, all it shows is little horizontal green and purple lines.

I've used my Epson PhotoPC 3000Z with a Bowens studio flash unit with approximately a 15 ft. synch cord; and I've had no problems. I suspect a faulty connection somewhere.

SOURCE: Power Cord

It requires a 20V power converter capable of supplying at least 1.6A. Any such converter with the proper sized plug should work, but Epson will tell you it will void the warranty

Asus UL50VT always shows charging

Either your battery or the power cord has an issue. Does the battery ever fully charge and make the charging light disappear or turn green? If not the battery could be bad.

Try running the computer off the battery by removing the power cord. if the battery starts losing charging strength real quick then your battery is bad. I've see bad batteries that say they are 100% charged but as soon as you remove the power cord it gets down to 5% i a matter of minutes.

Try running the computer on just the power cord. If it stays on and lets you operate without any problem then the power cord is good. A good power cord will not charge a bad battery.

If the laptop does not let you stay on long with the power cord, then either the power cord is bad or the DC Power Jack where the power cord plugs into the laptop is bad. If either of them is bad they will not charge a good battery.

Check your DC Power Jack which is where the power cord plugs into the computer is bad. Take an ink pen and push the tip inside the jack and see if the little pin wiggles, if so the jack is bad. You'll have to take the laptop apart to fix it. Most times it is soldered onto the motherboard, so you will have to desolder the old and solder a new one.

R60 Wont Charge

What's the make and model of your laptop? Most times the flashing lights will tell what the issue is.

If the laptop will not boot up so you can use it then the things below applies.

Sounds like your power cord is bad. Or the DC Jack is not soldered on good. Just because the power cord is new does not mean it works. Some Power Cords have a little green light on the adapter to show that it is plugged into the wall and getting power, check yours.

Anything ever post to the screen when you hit the power button? Do the fans start up, the hard drive spins? If not, maybe your power cord has enough power to emit a light but not enough to start the fan or disk drive.

If it's not the power cord or dc jack, then you have a Memory or Video Card issue.

OK after reading your post a 2nd time I think your only issue is that the battery is not charging, correct? If that is true the things below applies:

Either the battery is bad or the power cord is bad. Just because they are new don't mean they work. See if the Adapter portion of the power cord has a green indicator light that comes on when you plug it to an outlet. If it does, and that light is not on the power cord has issues. Also I hope you did not buy one of those one size fits all power cords from the big box stores where the end has a bag of different interchangable parts until you find one that fits into the laptop. If so, buy a power cord off ebay that is made for your laptop.

The battery might be bad and not hold a charge. I have seen new batteries that did not work.

I unplugged all my dell tower plugs and forgot how to put them back

Alrighty, this isn't as hard as you'd think. First, look for the power cord - it goes from a wall outlet to the power supply on the tower, and has a plug that looks like this: benharris5_0.jpg
Once you plugged that in, next plug in your monitor. It will look like one of these three plugs: benharris5_1.jpg
Find that cord, and plug it in to the back of your computer. If there are multiple places you could plug it in, pick any one you want that is horizontal (don't pick a vertical slot unless you only have vertical slots, the horizontal slots take precedence over the vertical one(s) that might be built in to your motherboard)
Next, if your computer wasn't connected to the internet via Wi-fi, find a cord that looks like this: benharris5_2.jpg
Plug this in to it's slot (when done correctly, you should hear a nice little 'click').
Next, plug in your audio plugs; these look like regular headphone plugs. Green plug goes into green slot, red into red (if you have one), etc.
Next, plug in any and all remaining cords wherever they will fit. If it doesn't go easy, don't force it. There are probably a few that have the same kind of plug ends; it doesn't matter which slot they go in if they all have the same style plug, but with ONE EXCEPTION: If you have any plugs that are circular looking and are colored either purple and/or green, make sure that they go into the same colored socket (green into green, purple into purple).
At this point you should be able to turn your computer back on and use it normally. (If it doesn't, make sure the power is plugged in and any switches near where the power goes into the computer are in the 'on' or '1' position.)
Good luck!

NO SOUND

They should be plugged in and turned on when you power up your system. They should be plugged into the green jack (line out). You then may have to check settings in control panel for your sound card's properties to see if digital only is checked. Try it both ways. Hope this helps.
