These are full of Problems also.. Its a No POST/BOOT Scenario and it could be a number of things. Try Pulling the Battery, Leaving the Adapter unplugged, Hold the power button down for a full 30-45 seconds, Plug the adapter in and retry. If it does not POST swap CPU/RAM with known good working components and if this does not help post back we can do more.

(At least these use TSOP RAM for the Video chipset which is more stable than prior HP's And the Samsung BGA)..
Be sure if you pulled the heatsink off the CPU didnt stay connected. If it did you need to carefully pry it off, Unlock the CPU socket and reinstall also. Weve ran into this before. (Did you see a bunch of gold pins coming from the bottom of the heatsink after tearing it down)? (Not on the systemboard the heatsink as they have a thermal paste/grease that does not like to let go at times)..

Try an external monitor. If that works then there is a problem with the screen cable, which is replaceable.

no it dident work. when its turned on it seems like it restarts itself every aprox 5 seconds if that helps... im stumped
I have exactly the same problem.Turn it on,light on control panel seem to work but nothing on screen and after 5-10 sec it off and again turn on itself..
