Check pressure switch

Testimonial: "it cycles good for a couple times then wont start unless I remove top panel and turn off the switch below blinking light and turn it back on again.Sometime it just hums but banging on the the air blend canister starts it. Is it just the the little fan wheel in there getting stuck you think?"

You could oil the spindle see if that stops it from jamming

SOURCE: have a coleman evcon furnace

Your centrifical swith is stuck open on your blend motor. I found that removing the blend motor housing and spinning the stuck motor (from setting over the summer) will get you out of a bind ,.but you may end up needing this centrifical switch (locatedon the bottom of the blend/fresh air intake) motor replaced.

SOURCE: Coleman Evcon Furnace Model G8T10012UHB11A

you probably have a cracked heat exchanger which is causing the rollout switches to trip.even the tiniest of cracks will cause the fan to blow the flame back into the unit and cause them to trip. check the heat exchanger for even the tiniest of cracks if so replace it. and be sure to have a carbon monoxide alarm in your home.

SOURCE: furnace code light flashes 3 times /pressure switch stuck open

Check the intake and exhaust plumbing for any obstructions. I had same issue, turned out to be ice in the air intake plumbing on outside of house. This may be the problem. The pressure switch can be tested by pulling hose from purge motor that goes to switch and applying a small amount of suction. The switch should make a clicking sound.

SOURCE: My furnace Coleman DGAT070BDD light flashes 4

Trying to find out what 4 flashes on the internet will be exhausting. However if you have the manual it is explained under trouble shooting. If not, look for a wiring diagram and an error code chart will be on the diagram. Sorry I could not be more help.

SOURCE: Coleman furnace -- fan runs, ingniter won't light,

My furnace did not have a reset switch on that particular limiter. I unpugged the switch, it had 2 wires, waited 15 seconds or so and then plugged it back in . Turned the furnace back on and the limiter reset itself.

Combustion switch error on windy days

The switch is not the problem ,it is doing it job.
Locate your vent and put a bend over it because what is happening is on windy days wind will get into vent blowing that combustion air back to furnace causing pressure switch to tripped.

Furnace wont work

Have to know the model and serial of the furnace.
locate code list usually inside or on the back of a door.
Operation sequence= call for heat--inducer blower motor--makes pressure switch--signals board to bring on hsi--after a set time gas valve opens and you have ignition--main blower motor comes on after a set time

Coleman dgaa furnace lights then goes out

If your talking about taking out the flame proving rod and cleaning it with sand paper or abrasive cloth and that didnt work, you may have a bad flame proving rod and it needs replaced. If the flame sensor is good, it could be the board not keeping the call to the gas valve, the gas valve not keeping the call, or your thermostat not keeping the call. Hope this helps narrow it down.

Gas furnace call for heat, Blower comes on immediately, no heat

Might be the pressure switch. If it gets blocked with dirt will not let furnace fire

How old is my Coleman Evcon Furnace, Modle Number: DGAT056BDE? I can't seem to find a Manufacturing date sticker. It was claimed to only be a year old, now living here a year it would now be 2 years old. ...

The Serial Number would really help in defining how old your Coleman furnace is. The model you have is used predominantly in manufactured housing. To find the Serial Number, you will need to remove the upper shroud of the furnace. There should be a sticker or plate on the back of that shroud of just inside the housing of the furnace, that will give you the Model # & Serial #. Armed with that, you can do a little detective work, as to it's age.

Trying to light the coleman furnace and error flashes says "Combustion air switch failed to close. Have turned circut breaker off and tried to start it several times. Cannot even get it to light.

Make sure both the exhaust vent and the air intake vent is clear of any obstruction. If the pipes do not pitch back toward furnace, they may have water in them blocking the flow of air. Also check the condensate drain and pump for blockage.

Have a Evcon Coleman Furnace shows three green blinking lights but will not ignight what could be wrong

I have had the same problem with mine for the last 2 years. Remove the motor on the side of the furnace(usually held on by 3 screws) and turn the fan blades inside by hand. after sitting all summer it seems to get stuck. If it moves freely, replace the motor and try to start it again. This fixed mine the last 2 years! Hope this helped.

Heater flashes 3 times says it means combustion switch failed to close

Combustion switch is your vent safety.. Check your vents outside for blockage, sometimes the intake pipe will freeze or frost up not allowing the preassure switch(vent safety)to close. putting furnace into a lock out.. you can reset the furnace by turning the power on and off.. if there is no power switch just remove the bottom door and reinstall...
