Tt makes a sound as though something is coming on, but looks like nothing the agitator never comes on. I tried to run it in test mode and have Code 2 along with delay/start hour blinking. Note the dispenser has been broken for years so we jut put the soap pod in with the cover open. Any way to test if this is a circulation motor issue for sure?
If you can connect to the circulation pump using a multi meter using the Ohm ? (resistance) setting, touching the 2 poles - and +, you can see if the motor is failing. If you get a current tester pen you can track the electricity along the wires to the circulation motor to see if the dishwasher is delivering power. If you remove the circulation pump you can have someone test it(by hooking it up to a direct power source). I had a similar issue and it was not the circulation motor, but the control board that failed.

both have a wax motor on them that needs to be replaced you just remove the panel and replace the wax motor is what its called

do you have a salt unit fitted. I had the same problem and the repair guy had to replace the salt unit as it was blocked up. Failing that it might be the board not opening the solenoid to allow the water to be jetted through the soap dispenser.

The pipe from the soap dispenser to the tub is quite large, it seems as if the water isn't getting out of the dispenser quick enough. Pull the whole dispenser out of the machine. There is a release clip at the back of the cup with the tray fully open. Clean out all soap residue and scum. Sometimes there is also a spot or setting for liquid or powder detergent. Adjust accordingly. Reassemble and try it again.

all you have to do is take a flathead screwdriver and look at the dispenser it has a locking metal around thecase where the dispenser goes. it a press in and listen to it click thats when you know that section is in.the plastic around the dispenser is the section where it snaps in. also unplug the dispenser. its only one plug in. very easy but atrick that i use is make sure the rubber gasket is lubricated with something like dish soap.when installing it you have to push hard and listen for the snaps .nyc appliance repair can handle at 1-888-692-1055 based in nyc
