No OS stated, windows 10? did you upgrade windows? (???)
you mean Wifi... im sure, wireless can be 5G wireless too.
so do all other things I the home work with Wifi?/?

are you at home , work or startbucks? or air port?
do you have wifi router in the home?(model#)
Is it your wifi router or owned by ISP.?
do you know your wifi login credentials.?
how far are you from the wifi router, try at 6ft as test.?
or try ethernet wired. to see if your enternet connection really work.
does it even have this option?
Wireless LAN 802.11a/b/g/n/ac (1x1) and Bluetooth 4.2 M.2it must be there, and show up in device manager does it?

use only the HP drivers OK? of still 100% HP PC use only HP drivers.
wifi is simple when it works then if not the not so simple at all.
I can't see your PC nor what Wifi systems you have

to see if that works. if yes the problem is only wifi dead in this PC
if that fails you router or modem needs help.

Is your chipset wireless network program taking over?
Often an internal system program will take priority when connecting to wireless networks.
Think of it like siblings who squabble over attention.
If you can find any other programs which are acting in this manner, I'd suggest telling them "do not use this when connecting" and then see if you can then use your main program.
Also - is your network secured and / or hidden? Did you reset your router? Sometimes this helps, too. =D

If Nothing else changed in the last 2 weeks, such as a new router, or other hardware changes, AND it just started happening, I suggest you do a "system restore" to a date BEFORE the problem started.
This should correct the problem, and if you did any updates or other software installations, you will need to re install them.
Finally, one option prior to system restoring is to turn off the wireless router (unplug it) and then wait a minute. Plug back in. Then turn on your computer. You can try this first if you haven't already..

Your having driver issue's sound and Network drivers either corrupt driver missing.
http://www8.hp.com/us/en/support-drivers.html input exact information needed, download them and be done.
