My old one started doing that. Make sure it is charging. The battery is going flat and its turning itself off. My cable was OK but the internal battery on the GPS had failed. I bought a new GPS as I couldn't find a new battery.

Elgin 2468, no manual, it is not making a stitch. Threaded and thread in bobbin.

try a brand new needle. Could also be threaded incorrectly--make sure the needle faces the correct direction. Possibly the machine is out of time (needle reaching the hook at the wrong time to intercept the bobbin thread). Search for: sewing machine timing

Garmin nuvi 265WT keeps turning on and off and does not go any furhter

Hello,

Check to be sure the nuvi has a fully charged battery or is connected to a power source.
Doing a soft reset on the nuvi will usually get the nuvi up and running.
If there is a reset button on the bottom, press and hold it until the nuvi powers back on. If it does not have the reset button on the bottom, slide and hold the power switch to the left for at least 10 seconds.
Also running the Garmin WebUpdater and reloading the latest update will resolve most issues.
Download and Install WebUpdater.

I have a garmin gps nuvi 255w and I wanted to register it, but a massage keeps on poping up saying external power lost shuting in 29 seconds. What should I do?

Try to charge your nuvi properly and full, or for at least 2hours before registering it. If the source of power connected to your nuvi is not strong enough, the nuvi might go off during an operation. Secure that the battery is well charged, then the source supplying the power is good enough to supply your nuvi with power before starting an operation.
Hope this helps.

My 2 yr old Garmin nuvi 200 was working fine...when I got home and turned the car off, it quit working and won't turn back on. I keep it plugged into the lighter, so it's not battery power.

No it's not the battery power: your nuvi has suffered the firmware equivalent of a stroke.

These are the steps to take to update your Nuvi 200:

Download and then run Garmin 200 WebUpdater to replace its firmware / system software.

I hope that helps.
