Having the same problem with the vm9512. According to Sirius, the Universal SCC1 will work, however it requires an additional Jensen specific "translator" that I have yet to find on any site thus far. Also, I asked the folks at Jensen and they said the Sirius tuner is "supposed" to be available this summer. Hmmm, we'll see.

Sirius Mode Selection
While in Sirius satellite radio mode, press S-MOD (22a) (also the SHIFT/SCAN button) to select
from four available modes: Normal, Category, Direct Tune and Set Skip Channel. When the
Category or Set Skip Channel modes are selected, the corresponding icon appears in the display.
When the DIrect Tune mode is activated, the alphanumeric display appears.

I had the same problem and there are a couple of reason why you may not be able to get into Sirius Mode.

the xm receiver is in the left rear quarter of van looks like between wheel well and rear of vehicle this is drivers side

Your Radio ID can be displayed by tuning your radio to channel 0. (That's one channel down from the XM Preview.) Make sure to check your ID code carefully. Please note that the following letters are not used: I,O, S, and F.
