Hi Timothy, your Microwave Sharp Half Pint, does not have any receptacle for batteries, therefore, if unplugged, it cannot generate any sound
As Robert Oliver suggests, notice that another device nearby, that if it has batteries, may be making that sound
I hope you find the origin of the beeper
Greetings Franco Dosil

Testimonial: "Thank you but the beep is definitely coming from the Half-Pint microwave oven. It's beeping about 15 minutes apart now (the beeps are not as loud ). There are no battery operated devices anywhere near it."
Timothy asks, have you checked externally, in case there is any device stuck or attached by a magnet, type Timer, and that may be generating the beep?
Or take out the lid, to try to see why the side generates the sound and see if there is any type of battery or battery
If you dare, please comet

It's probably not the microwave then.
what else have you got nearby which might be beeping.?
Some battery-powered devices such as smoke detectors will beep to tell you the battery needs changing.?

The fuse should be located on an input line filter board INSIDE the microwave. You will need to unplug and remove the outside case to get to it. Simply follow where the power cord comes in and you should see a fuse mounted on a small circuit board somewhere. This is the line filter. The fuse should be a 20 amp appliance fuse that you can purchase at any hardware store. DO NOT attempt to re-energize the oven with the cover removed. There are dangerous voltages present in the high voltage circuit (about 13,000 - 14,000 VAC). Put the outside case back on before trying an op test. Let me know if this helps.

Quite often this is due to grease or food particles stuck on or behind the waveguide cover.
The waveguide cover is usually about the size of a playing card and often held in place by a plastic rivet.
It can be fragile, and the metal edges of the oven behind it can be sharp, so be careful!
The cover and the metal behind it should be cleaned with a mild, non-ammonia cleaner.
If the cavity metal of the oven is chipped or charred, it will have to be sanded smooth and clean.
Then you can apply some high-temperature appliance paint, available from places like Wal-Mart or Lowe's.
If your waveguide cover is burned, it will need to be replaced.

SOURCE: Sharp Covection Oven/Microwave stops after 1min on any setting
This 59-second stop failure is due to a problem in one of the damper-related components, most likely the switch, but it may also be the motor or the damper door.
The damper is a door inside that opens or closes depending on cooking mode. If the controller thinks that the door is not in the right position, it will shut down the cook cycle.
See the attached sample photo.
